Billy Bob Merry Go-Round

Has anyone come across one of these on the secondary market or anywhere after the merger/post-Showbiz? Just wondering.

That is VERY similer to the PTT merry go round with Chuck E Cheese.

Yeah, but the picture is from before the merger, so the similarities to the CEC version are just a coincidence.

But yes, I agree- that's the first thing I thought of, too.

Yes, one was sold on eBay last year. It was the same design as the PTT version and was made by the same company (now defunct). The only difference was the fiberglass "SIT ON" characters and the "HAT" on top (PTT version had a derby hat). After a few years all stores removed the hats from the ride. Eventually the rides were scrapped and the fiberglass characters used for other purposes, namely a "Telephone".

If you keep your eyes open you will still see some of these in use today. Check the forum as there is a previous thread about the SPP "bear-ousel" and there are posts with pics of other rides still existing.

I once dreamed of owning one of these, or at least, I don't know... maybe 2 of the fiberglass bears. I thought that would be awesome and was willing to spend something like $600 on it.
