Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know a little of what's been going on in my life for the past few weeks. First things first, I got married on April 30th, so the wedding and post wedding stuff has kept me pretty busy. I've also been fairly sick and almost died taking antibiotics, so I get to recover the old fashioned way... just waiting it out.

And last friday my father's appendix burst and he was in surgery for over 4 hours. He's still in the ICU at the hospital and they're not sure if he's going to make it out. He's a very extreme diabetic and the only thing keeping him alive right now is dialysis since this recent sickness also caused permanent kidney failure. He won't stay on that treatment forever (which we also don't want to see him go through) so at this point it's just a matter of time that he'll be with my family and I.

I do realize that these matters are fairly personal and involve my life outside of SP.com, but I wanted to let everyone know that I haven't abandoned the site. For now though, my time has been all swallowed up by all that's been going on. When I can get back into the swing of things I'll do what I can for updating... at least get the radio staion off that mixed up April playlist. ;)

Thanks for everyone's support and patience, and if there's any new developments I'll be sure to let the community know.

Don't worry guys, I found a new webmaster on Ebay and got him using "Buy it Now". He ran some forum for Star Trek or something and likes to dress as a Klingon. I'm sure we can teach him everything he needs to know about Showbiz pizza and we'll be all back to normal before you know it! Now if I can just get him to shut up about the theory of sub-light engines I'll be happy. :rolleyes

sub-light engineering is not a subject to make light of!

If you realize the amount of energy that is put out per dilithium crystal compared to the power required to even go .5sls, you would understand why it is such a topic of discussion!

Anyways, congrats on the illness and i hope the wedding gets better....wait..no, reverse that. there we go.

Get better vega! the site can survive :)
