Regarding early CECPTT character (1977-1978) Crusty the Cat: His shirt says "Wingers 13". Do you think he is a sports fan? Was there such sports team as the Wingers even in San Jose, California (where the first CECPTT on Winchester Blvd. was located)?

The menu cartoon Crusty shows him in a baseball cap and Wingers 13 shirt playing baseball (catching a baseball with a baseball glove), the robot (wall portrait format) Crusty shows him with no baseball cap and the same Wingers 13 shirt. Hope this helps.

Where did you see the basketball version? Is the jersey the robot he is wearing the basketball version?
