Dolli Dimples Showtapes

Recently in Jasper's Showtape Review I noticed the list for the October 1985 Dolli Dimples CECPTT cabaret show. But were there other Dolli Dimples shows produced for CECPTT made between 1978 (I think that was the year she was first introduced in the early CECPTT San Jose locations) and 1984?

Yes, there were a few, one more will be added to the list at a later date from 1983 ;)

The first Dolli tape was made in 1979. It was a short sequence ( similar to the original PTT "shows" from that time) that was used at the first location. The first Dolli was a latex-masked example that became the more familair Cyberamic style character in the very early 80's.

There was a new tape created for the debut of the new version, and i plainly rememeber hearing it when i would see her in 1981. There were a couple of others released in the following years, and these are the ones that most likely tend to surface now.

The story goes that the woman who did the voice for Dolli as well as all the singing was a actual lounge singer that Nolan discovered locally. He asked her if she would be interested in recording some songs for his robotic creation and she agreed. Little did she know she was to become immortal by doing so!
