Just wondering, does anybody know what is at the former PTT locations, 370 S. Winchester Blvd. San Jose, CA and the Odgen, UT location? What about other locations that you know of? Please feel free to share, as I'm very curious >D

I think the shopping plaza on Winchester Blvd. in San Jose, California that housed the first CECPTT from 1977-1980's is nowadays some kind of office park or something like that.

YES!!! I love Office Space!!!

Anyway, how about any of your former local stores that have been changed into something? An example for me is the Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza/ Pizza Time Theatre in the Elmbrook Plaza in Brookfield, WI that closed in '97. It was vacant for about 7 years, and starting in 2001 more and more space of it was taken by other stores in the mall (ex: Kohl's Department Store took the showroom for storage (COMPLETLY cleared out the room), and Tuesday Morning took the game room). In 2001, the inside was all cleared to look like a warehouse, and that's when Kohl's and Tuesday Morning took over, and now Tuesday Morning is gone also. Believe it or not after it closed until '01, the inside still looked exactly the same, except no games or merch., and no posters except one parody poster was laying aganist the wall (believe it was BeagleJuice), and the tables were even there, along with the red, blue, green and yellow borders on the walls and the rug, and lobby. Couldn't see into the showroom, however the rainbow light was still shining in there (most CEC's have this it's the colorful stream right up against the ceiling and walls).

After remodling of the whole mall took place in '01, the whole inside was just a little hallway with nothing left of the old CEC but the brown tiles from the lobby still in place. In 2004, the empty building was turned into "Dollar Deals," and there's nothing left except two things which must have been blocked off: the prize counter and the coat hangers. The prize counter is now the cashier desk and the coat hangers are hung up in the tiny storage room for Dollar Deals.

Wow, can't believe I just typed all of this up! :lol

That's nasty!

Also Darryl has mentioned before that the Hoffman Estates, IL PTT location was a Little Caesars Pizza Place and now is a Laser Tag Arena. Also older locations have become clubs and places where drugs are dealed.

I'd like to know about the Ogden, UT location. Anybody know the address where it was? I don't live too far away from Ogden. I could drive by find out what became of it.

Ours is now one of the Citi Trends clothing stores. I've been wanting to check out what they've done to it.

looking at it on Google Earth it looks like the building where it was is still there (unless that's a new building)
