Yes Josh. I have heard the MMBB/Studio C redo songs that PTT did years ago or that the RAE did. I own a lot of PTT reels and its funny how many of the same songs both shows did around the same time even before they were one company. A few examples are "Gitarzan", "Thank God I'm a Country Bear/Dog", "Proud to Be an American", Various Beatles songs and too many others to mention. I know the PTT balcony stage did "Please Mr. Postman". THe Beagles caberet act also did this song as did Helen Henny a few show tapes ago. I believe her performance was in the "Dr. Googleplex, Back to the Future/time travel show" this past summer.

THings were a little different then Harmony. The whole political correct BS thing came about in the early 90s. No one really got pissy about any of this or whatever until then. I'm just wondering when God became a bad word. I'm tired of all these whiney people personally. Both the RAE and PTT shows did songs of that nature back then and it was not an issue. There is no reason they can't still because they are a private company. If anyone is that offended then they should just not come back. Interestingly, not to get off topic, there is no such thing as "Seperation of Church and state." THose words appear no where in our constitution. Anyway, I hope at least CEC will continue to do songs like that. Veggie tales is a christian based claymation show and they use those characters in intermission. Talking cucumbers kind of scare me though...

Aptly put, captslappy...
I'm going to stray off topic for a moment...
In 4th grade, when I went to public school, our teacher would show us Veggietales in class. Well, she got into trouble with the district, for promoting 'religious standards' or something...

You know Harmony, its sad... but I noticed that those who are so mortally offended by being exposed to religious ideas and whine their rights are being violated often time will make offensive, vulgar or controversial statements or what have you that offend others and then scream their first amendment rights are being violated if anyone attempts to stop them from offending others. My ex-roommate was like that. He took great pleasure in being "controversial" and doing and saying things that offended others and then would site his first amendment right that he had the right to say whatever he wanted. BUT... if you dared to "push your religious BS on him" he would scream seperation of church and state. The hypocracy is both funny and sickening at the same time... Folks like that seem to take great pleasure in twisting the rules to their advantage and I think its really sad...

I could also add "I'm Walkin', Can't You See" to this list. In Helen Henny Bandstand #2? Mr. Munch sang this song from PTT. In 2004, Chuck sang this song.
