Back in the PTT days there seemed to be 3 colors of eyelids for the shows. I am strictly speaking about cyberamics here and not the portrait shows.

Brown lids:
Foxy
Jasper
Pasqually
King
Artie

Blue:
CEC
Oink
Helen

Pink:
Munch
Harmony
Sally
Dolli
Bubbles

I know Sally, Harmony, Dolli and BB all had some sequins around their eyes and had eyelashes. I believe Munch originally had the same shade eyes as the girls but with out the lashes or sequences. Foxy did not appear apear to have the sequences over her lids. Oink and Helen had blue lids like CEC but does anyone know if they had the sequenes over their eyes or not? I believe modern Helen has pink lids now like Harmony and Dolli's. I am not sure on Munch. Are his still pink? It also seems Pasqually and jasper may now have more of a grey color as opposed to the brown "King" style eyelids. i'm thinking Jasper and Pasqually may even now have different colored eyelids. Does anyone know?

I was not talking about eyes I was talking about the eyelids and the Warblettes do not have any so I didn't forget. i had a specific question about the eyelid colors on a few characters.

Okay, here is the scoop on the eyelids...

B.B Bubbles had light blue lids with matching sequins and black eyelashes. Some models may have had pink, as some B.B's were Dolli retrofits and some locations may not have bothered to change the lids during cosmetic changes. The Danvers model had blue with gold braid, the sequins, and black eyelashes.

Dolli had pink eyelids with gold braid and black eyelashes.

Oink had the same, but with silver and gold braid.

Artie and the King had the same...flat dark brown with black fur eyelashes.

Harmony had pink with red sequins and gold braid...with lashes.

Foxy on the other hand also had pink eyelids with metallic green and silver braid decoration, black eyelashes. No sequins.

All guest stars except Helen had pink eyelids...this was because these characters were switched with each other cosmetically. So Foxy, Sally, Harmony, and Oink all had the same lids. Only the lid rim trim was changed..from metallic braiding to the familiar sequins that lined the lid at the base of the long eyelashes. Sequins were added to create a nice sparkling effect when the girls fluttered their lids...which they did do back then. The PTT player eyelid animation was very different when compared to today's animations....the lids on the old Bots' were constantly fluttering!!

Munch always had pink lids with long yellow hair eyelashes. Chuck had light blue up until recently...now they are grey when you order new parts. Same for Helen...if you call and order Helen lids, you will be sent the newer pink glitter ones and NOT blue ones to match the mask! To get blue for Helen, you had to order blue Chuck ones!

Jasper and Pasqually always had dark brown...again, until recently. Now if you replace them, they are light brown (Jasper) and flesh tone (!!!) for Pasqually. Mindboggling is'nt it? Bet ya never knew eyelids had such a variety huh?

And while on the subject of Cyberamic eyes...here is a list of the correct eye colors for each. I have noticed many Bots' in my location travels have the wrong colored eyes and it's darn spooky to see Munch with Chuck's eyes and Chuck with Munch's eyes!! Here is the official Iris list:

early CEC: blue/green base, yellow flecks (unique to era)
later CEC: blue base, green flecks

Helen: blue base, light blue flecks

Munch: blue base, yellow flecks

Jasper: brown base, yellow flecks

Pasqually: brown base, yellow flecks (older model has brown/black)

Foxy: light green base, yellow flecks (unique to era)

Dolli: dark blue base, blue flecks (unique to era)

B.B.Bubbles: blue base, light blue flecks

Artie Antlers: brown base, yellow flecks

The King: blue base, light blue flecks

Harmony: dark blue base, blue flecks (unique to era)

Madame Oink: same as Harmony and Dolli

and for Sally? Hmm...i'm not sure, but can guess they were probably blue.

All the female PTP's had blue eyes...Foxy was the exception.

I thought there was more to it, that's why I asked. I also thought it seemed like the early characters had some unique eyes that the later ones no longer have. The one pic I have seen on Sally (as seen on this site) shows her with what appears to be green eyes. I suspect that this is the official list and over time characters got the wrong lids or eye colors. Foxy appeared to me to have brown lids and eyes but it's hard to tell in those photoes. I know the wall portrait had black hair and a different outfit from the cyberamics model. Anyway, interesting stuff.

Foxy definately had green eyes, as i have her Caberet Poster here staring me in the face! LOL!! She's lifesize and it plainly shows her bright pink lids and light green eyes. Man, it's cool....I know the pic you mean Captian of Foxy looking like she has brown lids...it looks like it to me too, but the pic i saw is of her in portrait form. The Cyberamic always had the pink lids.

You are correct in saying that there were a couple of iris issued in the early days that are no longer used...prime examples being Dolli, Harmony and Oinks colors and the original eye color for Chuck E. You can often tell how old a stage is by looking at Chuck's eye color as some old stores still have the original green on yellow iris on him and it looks spooky today!

I figured you could straighten that all out. I knew there were probably more variations than I knew of and I was mostly going off memory and pics that may or may not be right. Again, there were probably more than a few with incorrect eyelids or eye colors over time.

The most common mistakes seem to be with the two current versions of the blue eyes...CEC and Munch aften have them mixed up.

On a side note, you can still get the correct irisis for Dolli, Harmony and Oink. Many Helen's are sporting these same eyes! Modern Helen irisis are very similar to the original color used on Dolli and the other girls. Dark blue, not light blue, is the one to look out for.

Ok I did some scrutinizing and you are correct. The eyelids in the pic on the PTP page do appear to be brown on Foxy Colleen. But if you look weely weely close and do some zooming in with the appropriate software, they are indeed pink also. I think the shadowing and the relatively small size of the pic gives the illusion they are brown.

That photo you speak of in the PTP section is from my Cab poster....so yeah, i can tell you that she definately has pink eylids!

On another note....i forgot to mention that the new Munch lids are purple now, not pink. So if you ever order a new set of eyelids for him, you will get the new purple editions.

Helen also had a eyelid enhancement in recent years...as noted before, her new lids are light pink with a through dusting of pink iridescent glitter. They look great on her, but the glitter is a nightmare as you can well imagine. Again, only stores that have replaced her lids will have these...most locations still use the old light blue ones.

I'm pretty sure the Irving store in TX (the one down the street from corporate) has some with glitter eyelids. Keep in mind we are strickly talking two stage here and this would not apply to the 3 stage.

I know the early eyeballs were made of wood, but what are they made of now? I forgot, but they weigh a ton! :eek

Hard, solid fiberglass i think.

They are'nt made of wood anymore, i am pretty certain.

Yeah, the original eyes were made out of a solid wood that was sanded smooth and painted off-white. The eyes were partially hollow inside, as there was a large hole that went through the entire eyeball. The hole is visable from the back of the charcacters eyes...when you take the back of the head off for repairs. The front of the eyes were solid, were the irisis were mounted.

The original eyes also have this wonderful old musty wood smell...ahhh.....nothing beats it!

This is VERY possible i suppose, as now that i think of it they had a LOT in common.

The old style Skeeball balls were the same color, and they certainly smelled the same.

Hmmmm.....now this is worth looking into!

There are 2 sizes of skee balls. I would almost be willing to put money on it. It seems almost too perfect!

But at the same time I feel the need to interject...I can swear I saw a pic of Harmony with blue eyelids in the photo gallery a while back. I'm not sure if it's there now, but it was under some name like "John T." or something who had PTT pics...I'm almost positive...I remember even thinking that blue eyelids looked kind of weird on her...

Beach Bear, it is VERY possible that she had light blue lids at some locations.

Many older stores would'nt change out the lids when they recieved a new guest star. The Company tried to make it easy for them by making most of the girl guest stars have the same color eyes and lids. An example being Harmony and Oink...they were exacly the same..the only change was made to the trim lining the eyelid.

Yeah, i agree....it can come off as totally perposterous to discuss a topic such as this. Talk about nitpicking details, but ya now....that's what being a fan of something is all about! Discussing minute details of everything even remotely related. Yeah okay....and we can also be overly obsessed, and maybe need to get a life....but we don't think of it that way! Ha Ha Ha HA!!!

What you saw was the Harmony at Marvin's. She had the wrong eye lids because she was probably on Helen's frame.

I found a place that sells skee balls online for $8 each. I contacted the place and I'm going to get a set and find out. Just like the CEC eyeballs aren't made the same way there is a chance that the skee balls are made differently too. They should be the same size tho. I'll let you know what I find out.

Here's another thing on the subject of eyes. One of the things that bugged me about the whole 3 stage concept unification is they didn't bother to keep the traditional eye colors. All of them are wrong on the 3 stage. Beach Bear and Rolfe switch so Chuck has Blue eyes and Jasper gets brown. That fixes one of them. CHuck never had blue eyes, they were green. Munch is left with brown eyes and Pasqually is left with blue. THey should have at least swapped Munch and Pasqually also. To really do it right, they should have taken all the eyes out and redone them as follows:

CEC should have gotten Mitzi's green eyes.
Helen should have gotten Dook's dark blue eyes.
Pasqually should have gotten Fatz's brown eyes.
Jasper should have gotten Rolfe's brown eyes.
Munch should have gotten Beach Bear's light blue eyes.

That would have been true to the standard set by PTT. Pizza Cam doesn't matter because he was a character created to utilize the LB mech therefore he could have kept the green eyes of Looney.

Bringing this back to PTT, Jenn commented a lot of characters on 1 and 2 stage shows have the wrong eyes. Since CEC has made no real effort to be consistant and the eyes are all wrong on the 3 stage anyway, I think all of that really went out the window.

Jasper has DARK brown eyelids.
He has a facial 'mask' type marking that spreads over his eyes, lips, and seperates above his eyes....his head is brown, and his ears are black. His eyelids are the color of his head.

I did some more looking at the eyes and I'm pretty sure looking at the one known pic of Sally that she has green eyes. This would make sense because I have a feeling Foxy and Sally were used and switched out just like Oink and Harmony were. This may not be accurate because the eyelid color did change from Foxy to Sally but that wouldn't have been that big a deal. I think the eye color changed to blue when Harmony and Oink came out after Sally and Foxy got retired.

Wow, almost a year now since we visited this topic. I question the accuracy of the caberet posters as refs. If you read back through the thread Jenn notes Foxy's eye color based on that picture. One observation recently made is Artie in every pic has brown eyes except in his caberet pic which shows him with blue. I believe this may be proof on the theory that this was because EJ had blue eyes and when they first built him he was still Elkton John at that point. I have also since seen several pics in the gallery photos of Harmony and Oink with blue eyelids. I guess things have gotten mixed up over the years because the more I look the more pics I see with characters that have the wrong eye color or eyelid color. It is also interesting to note the 3 stage lid changes. They all pretty much got new eye lids when they went from the RAE to the MMBB. Munch's MMBB lids were orange, Chuck's were blue, Helen's were actually changed to green, Jaspers were brown and I think Pasqually's stayed the same as Dook's because they are a flesh tone. I am not sure on the pizza cam bot's lids.

Right Captain...i touched on this in another thread regarding Elkton. The photo on the poster is more then likely the Elkton prototype.

Yes, i suppose there were some lazy Tech's out there even back then that could'nt be bothered to change out the eyelids and iris when changing the Guest character. It IS a project to remove the lids, i will say that...so that is understandable why some Harm's and Oinks' had the "wrong" colors. Iris are very easy to switch out so there is no excuse for that, however unless you are a CEC Freak like us who obsess over this sort of thing, nobody would really be able to tell if they had the wrong colors or not!

To this day i visit locations to photograph shows and many times i see the wrong iris on the Bot's. Chuck and Munch always have them mixed up and it's darn creepy when they are. Munch's yellowish eyes make the grey rat looked possessed!!

I know about changing out the lids. I have done this before and it's harder than you would think. There is a lot you have to take apart to get them loose.
