Who designed the Pizza Time Players?

Hi guys, I'm new hear. I've been a fan of Chuck E. Cheese's and Showbiz since 1984. Now I know that Creative Engineering created the Rock-a-Fire Explosion, so who created the Pizza Time Players shows?

Hi, I'm from New Orleans so I've visited a few. I remember my first Showbiz experience which was in the Gentilly area of New Orleans. My parents told me that it didn't particularly last too long because of it's location. My dad said that many times people would just walk in there and not buy food or anything. I vaguely remember it, but I do remember seeing Earl and Rolfe on stage. They are my favorite RAE characters. After Showbiz moved to it's Metaire location (which is where Chuck E. Cheese's is located present day), there was a remnant of Showbiz in Gentilly because the building had a big red canopy about the building (it was similar to the ones of the RAE stages). The building remained closed for years and then became an Autozone Autoparts store about 10 years ago. The canopy stayed there until it got destroyed by a tropical storm or something. Most of my Showbiz memories come fromt the Metaire location anyway.

Now the Pizza Time Players...they had two locations also. One was in the Gentilly woods Mall (which I never remember going to) and another location on airline highway in the back of Metaire. I don't remember much about the place other than I had a birthday party there. I remember seeing The King in the caberat show when you first walked into the restaurant. And I also remember the balcony stage. I've been fasinated by it ever since then because I've never seen it again. The only thing I can remember is that the show came on and I was waiting for the Hen (Helen Henny) to talk. I don't know how long the PTT was around in New Orleans after that, but it couldn't have been too long I had never even heard of the other types of stages that the restaurants had. All I know after that was showbiz, and I so badly wanted to see Chuck E. Cheese's again one day(who would have ever thought that I would get my wish?). I wanted so badly to have chuck e. cheese's come back to New Orleans, and when it did, I was very disappointed. What I should have wished for was the PTT, not CEC. LOL.

Did you get to go to Looney Birds in Mandeville while it was open? I live about 2 hours from New Orleans. I have a Rock-afire show! You'll have to come see it someday! ;)

No, I never got a chance to go to Looneybirds. By the time that I heard about it (which is when I came to this Messageboard), I believe that it had closed. I never knew where it was because people kept saying that it was in New Orleans, but I knew it wasn't because I would have known about it. I'm in texas right now, but my family plans on rebuilding and I will be back in New Orleans sometime in 06', so yes I will definitely have to stop buy and relive some of the memories the RAE. Thanks, you have just made my night. :D

Hi there! I know what you mean about being fasinated with the balcony show-it was that way for me with the King and the Balcony show too for awhile because I only saw them when I was a little kid, and then never again until years later when someone showed me pictures! It's kind of funny, it's like, oh good-I wasn't crazy. They really did exist!

lol! thats so funny to hear you put it that way! the whole reason i first found this site is because i was tired of my friends telling me i was crazy when i would talk about "a white bear" and "chuck e not being on the stage" (RAE) and Helen having a different looking face, etc... So one day i went on the internet to prove my friends wrong and find pics. thats how i found this site. :P so youre so right! lol
