Was interested in drawing them, but I have no clue as to what age (aproximate), or size (other than their robot sizes, which I could tell from a photo showing some of them next to a Munch performer), nor their names or personalities either. Any help would be great.

I saw a video of this finally and man was I disappointed. I thought the animation was poor and the show didnt fit in with PTT, especially as a replacement to the main show. I understand why this was done and it was cool taht someone could manually control them and all but I would have been very disappointed if I'd walked into PTT and saw this in place of the balcony characters. It must have been J's store because the characters are named Nadeen, John and Randy.

Captain...i WAS that person you describe! I was VERY dissapointed back in early 1985 when i walked into Danvers and saw the then all new Family Album. I was in shock and very disspointed at not seeing CEC and friends onstage, but in their place were these stiff humans! I was so disgusted, i left soon and never came back until they were taken out in 87 or so. I think it was a good 3/4 years before i went back to Danvers. I only returned when i had comfirmation that the animal characters were back...that confirmation came from J when i discovered he worked there! This was back in 88' folks...just so you are aware of the time frame here.
Man i was bummed about the FA.....i was so happy when they left but i know it was a awful experience for those close to the "band". The FA had some serious fans and they were absolutely crushed when the show was pulled out and shipped off to RI. Years later i saw a great video of the show shot in Danvers specifically for archieving and i have to say the show grows on you. I actually like it now....i have been converted! Randy rocks, Dee Dee is cool and T.J. is....well, ...T.J! Love that lisp.....LOL!

Is there any footage online? J, you should consider having a video section of your website and host some various videos. That'd be awesome!!!

No but Nick has a DVD of the FA show for sale on the for sale page. Very worth while if you are interested in seeing it.

so R.I. is where they sent the show to be scrapped?? Dang J they should have given the show to YOU. Yeah it wouldn't have fit in your house but i'm SURE you would have found SOME place in Salem to put it.

Who said it was scrapped? It just got returned to the manufacturer. It is highly unlikely it was destroyed especially if it was in good shape. Sounds to me like CEC LEASED it since it was only intended to be tempoarary. If the company that made it went OOB then that show was considered a company asset and was likely sold off at some kind of auction to pay creditors. Whether or not it still exists today is unknown of course but I guarantee you it was not destroyed after it left PTT.

Also F.A. shows were sold to other places besides PTT because I remember somebody posting a pic on another thread a while back.

Yes they were. It was not a PTT exclusive. It is possible in fact, that some of these places got used shows that had previously been in PTT. That was over 20 years ago so there is a good chance by now that most are in the trash because they are shot. However, it is possible a few exist somewhere in storage or perhaps in private hands. I don't know of a place that still has this show.

J has all the Company info regarding who made the FA shows, etc. He tried already to contact this place but so far no luck. He of all people would love to learn more about what became of this show and if the Company who made them even still does such things.
Getting back to the FA at PTT, yes it was a leased show. In the early 80's PTT was opening new locations so quickly that the company that produced the Cyberamics could'nt keep up on orders. To fill this gap created by not having enough show parts and product, PTT leased shows from different companies. The FA was sent to Danvers in February of 1985 so their original Balcony Show could be shipped off to the then brand new location in RI. Eventually when the FA was pulled out in 87' or so ( J would have exact dates) we recieved the full Rocker Stage in it's place. Again, J would have the full details. I'm just quickly jotting down my memories of this era here.

Yup...on all questions!
I know Elnicky Enterprises has gone out of business, I know the show we had was sent to Warwick RI(for parts to their show as they were the 1st to get it in our area) From RI it was returned to Mi.
I would love to get my hands on any info /parts from the show, but alas nothing has EVER surfaced.
I have all the manuals on equipment used, andhave lots of pictures and a tape I shot in Danvers. If ANYONE has another tape , Please let me know I WILL BUY A COPY!
I know our show was acting up in its last month adn the characters were frozen between the shows, so we could not use the interactive part, but they played fine off the cassetts.
