Here is a pic I found of Nolan Bushnell that shows in the background the Barber Shop characters as well as the show program console...looks like you can see the stage light buttons to his left.http://i1.tinypic.com/nxq7ms.jpg

*Drools* Oh man you don't know HOW long I've been trying to find pics and or info about the first programming stage and the inside of PTT's headquarters...:eek :p LOL It's funny how much that guy looks like a young Donald Sutherland. :)

Yes, this is a early photo of the PTT Programming Studio...i'd say 1981 judging by the figures, equiptment, and Nolan's youthfull good looks in this shot.

Where in the world did you find this photo? I have never seen it in all the years i have been involved in PTT.

Nice pic!!! It's cool how the Little Shavers (or is that the Beach Bowzers?), are right in front of the Balcony.

That was from a 1981 Smithsonian magazine (later appeared on the Smithsonian magazine article web site).

It must be The Little Shavers cause you can see the red and white stripes on their shirts like a barber pole...

They are definately human so its the Little Shavers. I wish you could see which guest was hiding behind him. It's also interestign to note the Shavers are right there. It makes you wonder how all the other shows are set up in the programming studio. I'm sure they used the Beagles for both the Beagles and Beach Bowzer programming. Likewise I bet they just had Dolli but she was probably switched to BB for the trunk movement later on. By the time BB Bubbles was here they had already made both Dolli Shows. But how cool is that to think about all those shows all in one room?
