Did your local CEC had the similar to The Cheese Factory kids play area called the Play 'n Place? The 1983-1986 CECPTT in Hoffman Estates, Illinois used to have one called this. The play area was still called Play 'n Place (sans CEC name) after the 1986 changeover from CECPTT to Little Caesar's Family Fun Pizzaria.

I'm not sure what is it? If it's the ball pit or cheese slide yes we did. Otherwise I'm not sure. Describe it.

2 areas I remember from the Play 'n Place at CECPTT:
The Beagles Ballroom (ball crawl)
Dolli's Decent (not sure what it was like)
And I don't recall if there was a cheese slide in the Play 'n Place.

Ok we might have. We had a ball pit, A sort of jungle jim thing that looked like it was made out of cheese with a slide. You entered a door, went inside, climbed to the top and slid down. I'm not sure if that's what you mean or not. It's cool tho they used some of the characters names. I also remember Munch's Mad House. The black light room with the strobes under the PTP stage in the dining room.

I remember Munch's Mad House too-I don't really remember the lights though, but I was like three or four at the time. Jenn, do you remember the one we had in Danvers? Or is it the Florida one you're remembering?

Okay...the Munch's Madhouse i was commenting on was at the Brandon Fl store...my old haunt in 1981. It was the awesomist location ever, absolutely HUGE, and jam packed with EVERYTHING and i MEAN everything PTT related.
Most Balcony Stages had the famous Cheese Maze and Munch's Madhouse built directly underneath the stage. It was pretty cool being a kid and crawling all around under there knowing Chuck and the Players were performing a mere few feet above you. Munch's Madhouse was at the end of the Cheese Maze...so you had no choice but to go through it to get out. The Brandon one was loaded with blacklights and strobes...in the pitch black darkness it was freaking mindblowing for a kid i will tell you!!
Those were the good ol' days....

I think the Hoffman Estates, Illinois CECPTT did have a cheese maze or Munch Madhouse kid crawl through underneath the main balcony CECPTT Pizza Time Players stage.

Oh okay Jenn, so the Cheese Maze and Munch's Mad House where two diffrent things? You know, I think it must be the Cheese Maze that i'm recallling-because it was a maze under the balcony show I use to play under. So then maybe Danvers didn't have Munch's Mad House....
