A few nights ago, I went to Chuck E. Cheese's in East Hanover (which is when I wanted to post this, but A. I need help, I can only post about five times a day, and B. my internet went down>: >: >: . Anyway, the place was 1-stage with a lot of problems. There were so many, I've decided to talk about the robots first, 1 by 1, and then lighting.

Chuck-Didn't blink, and I think some of the cosmetics (how do I know that word?) were ripped near his mouth.

Helen-Also didn't blink, and I could also see a metal something at the back of her head.

Munch-Easily the most visible problem. There was this big thing of fur hanging from his neck.

Jasper-It didn't look like his left arm was moving at all.

Pasqually-Actually looked OK.

Lights-Lots of problems. Helen, Jasper, and the Wink didn't seem to have their lights aimed correctly, the "Chuck E. Cheese" sign and the tube lights behind Chuck didn't light, and neither did Pasqually's drum. For some odd reason, they were using the Wink light and "The Chuck E. Cheese Show" light for a semi replacement for the MMBB sign and the drum, and there were these lights above the stage that were always on, even after the segments! What made it more embarrassing was that the characters were not programmed for random movement, so you could see the characters do nothing after the show!

One more thing, in a little corner of the place I saw an old parody poster of

Indiana Jowls and the Temple of Pizza

(Note, double click over the black area to see the hidden message)

(PS, I also took three pics of the location)

Sure wish this poor looking East Hanover, New Jersey CEC Munch Band 1 stage show was replaced by a better looking Studio C Cappa show.

I was at this store last year; sounds as if some things never change.

To address one thing, the lights over the stage that were on
are for backstage purposes, to my knowledge. Probably some
techincal name for them, that I simply know not of. I have
asked about these in the past, only to be told,
"Hang on, one sec" and they were off.

#525 is a store thats simply located in a bad spot without
the key factor. Magic. The store could be turned around
with the right management and a major staff meeting.

But as the guest, it is your responsibility to give
Head Quarters a report on the store. Sometimes they need
to know what's going on (or down) at some stores.

One thing to remember is: "Every guest sees happy"
Did you see Super Chuck, or was he "sleeping"? That's one
of my biggest dissapointments, the lack of the head cheese.

I'll have to dig up my pictures from that store to further
refresh my mind as to what I saw.

Actually, East Hanover had a population of less than 10,000, I believe, so it probably would get Cra-, I mean, Cappa.

in order to get a Cappa stage it would have to be a new store in what CEC defines as a "smalltown" area

Yeah, is it still a one stage? I am planning to go down there in a couple of weeks but I don't want to waste my time.

It's still a one stage, and they have been remodeled as of last year, adding a second floor......

Really they added a second floor to this location!? Wow that's interesting since remodels usually don't involve doing this! Does anyone have any pictures of this location before and after the remodel?

There is a pic of the location before the remodel on Google maps. I found it by typing in "Chuck E Cheese's near East Hanover". They had the old Chuck E Cheeese's Pizza sign up until last year.
