A few nights ago, I went to Chuck E. Cheese's in East Hanover (which is when I wanted to post this, but A. I need help, I can only post about five times a day, and B. my internet went down>: >: >: . Anyway, the place was 1-stage with a lot of problems. There were so many, I've decided to talk about the robots first, 1 by 1, and then lighting.
Chuck-Didn't blink, and I think some of the cosmetics (how do I know that word?) were ripped near his mouth.
Helen-Also didn't blink, and I could also see a metal something at the back of her head.
Munch-Easily the most visible problem. There was this big thing of fur hanging from his neck.
Jasper-It didn't look like his left arm was moving at all.
Pasqually-Actually looked OK.
Lights-Lots of problems. Helen, Jasper, and the Wink didn't seem to have their lights aimed correctly, the "Chuck E. Cheese" sign and the tube lights behind Chuck didn't light, and neither did Pasqually's drum. For some odd reason, they were using the Wink light and "The Chuck E. Cheese Show" light for a semi replacement for the MMBB sign and the drum, and there were these lights above the stage that were always on, even after the segments! What made it more embarrassing was that the characters were not programmed for random movement, so you could see the characters do nothing after the show!
One more thing, in a little corner of the place I saw an old parody poster of
Indiana Jowls and the Temple of Pizza
(Note, double click over the black area to see the hidden message)
(PS, I also took three pics of the location)
