Anyone know why the curtains on 3-stages are supposed to be kept open all the time now? It looks really silly since 3-stage characters don't move during intermission like 2-stage characters can.

It's really cool seeing two Chuck E's during Live shows! haha. Maybe the cast can learn to manually open and close Chuck E's stage for Live shows and remember to open it back up for regular shows.
Maybe corporate can program a show for us so that characters move during intermissions or create a chip that will do it like 2-stage does.
On the bright side, techs in the area don't have to worry about curtain problems anymore! Or the "Chuck E Cheese" show spotlight.

I was being sarcastic!
Our curtains work fine. The techs in this area were advised to disconnect the curtains on their stages.

Rod, I would greatly appreciate it if you would keep your sdarchasm to a minimum. I almost emailed my freinds at home office asking if their was such a policy. At the least,if if your going to be sarchastic let us know so you don't get us all worked up like this, Thxs

After 2 phone calls I after a email I got regarding this question let me set the record straight about this issue....There has been NO (repeating NO) change in the show. Hence the store with the bad curtains need to fix them unless the RT and approved the matter of the curtains staying open

I'm sorry for the confusion guys! It IS true that the techs in our area were told to leave the curtains open. They were told to do this at their local meeting with the district tech, and other important folks. I was only being sarcastic about "liking" it. I hate it! It looks very very bad. I was pretty sure it didn't come from Corporate. One of those things similar to "put white christmas lights on your center stage building backdrop all year long". And then regional/area guys are shifted around and the next year we're asked why are there white Christmas lights on our building backdrop!! I'll just wait for it to pass like it always does! But wanted to make sure it wasn't a corporate decision.

Just thought I'd let you guys know that we were told to use the curtains again. Yeah!! Don't know how long that will last or if there is still something in the works. Time will tell.
