Which location do you think has the best one? How come they just decided Munch would be the leader? Do people from CEI come down to CEC to fix 3 stage shows since technically, they made them? Who thinks they're the BIGGEST fan of the show? I know I do.

Hard to say really, the ones here in MA I think have some of the best kept up shows around...possibly having to do with the District or something.

How come they just decided Munch would be the leader?

No Sure, he never felt like a leader to me, and he never acted like a leader of the band.

What people from CEI.;)
Nah, the techs usually keep em' up to task.

I dont think he was the leader, they just decided to call it Munch's Make Believe Band becuz they dont want Chuck to be the leader in everything, they want to express all the characters out, just like it says Pasqually's Amateur Hour over Pasqually. (That expresses that Pasqually is the jokester of the band.) It shows people there is more characters just than Chuck E.
Chuck E.'s Make Believe Band (Makes sense, but they already called the resturant after him)
Helen's Make Believe Band (Doesn't make much sense)
Munch's Make Believe Band (Stands out the most)
Jasper's Make Believe Band (Doesn't make much sense)
Pasqually's Make Believe Band (Thats just wrong!)

I mean, if they flipped flopped Munch and Chuck, it would be Chuck E.'s make believe band and "Munch's Pizza Place!" Or something like that!

Well I hear what you're saying though. On most of the tapes after the change, he was introduced at the end of the show as the leader of the band. I guess it was cause he was right in the center of the characters. You gotta remember, it was because of the switch at 3 stage stores that the characters were arranged this way at other stores. (1 stage, 2 stage) ;)

I think the Streamwood, IL CEC with the Munch Band show is the best!

In response to your first question, I would have to say, because I am a fan of the two stage, Cherry Hill, NJ. Then again, I have only seen the show at this location ONCE (I went twice [and both trips were around 10 minutes], but the first time the curtains were closed). If Union had worked at 100% more often, I would say Union, but it didn't work at 100% too often (actually, I don't recall a time the Union stage was bug free, and that's probably why it has Beta). East Hanover was in poor condition when I last visited it, and the rest of NJ I barely remember. The only other thing I remember about stages was thinking that the Streamwood location robots looked highly dated when I made a short visit around this time last year.

Final Note: Just because I want to put it here, and I mentioned the Streamwood location, I will be in Chicagoland sometime in August. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to look for you guys.

The Pasadena, CA Stage is pretty damn awesome.

Also, listen to the song "party place" i forgot what show it's in...maybe 2001 or 2? Munch is the leader of the band. I think cec wanted to use the alliteration. two M's, two Bs.

And they also had done a little edition with that to while using the current voice actors to.

I remember the fist time I went back to Showbiz Pizza back in 1991. I hadn't gone to that place in 3 years so I was expecting to see the Rock-afire Explosion. Boy was I wrong!

Munch's Make Believe Band was pretty good in the early years from 91 to about 93 or so, then the quality of entertainment declined. The band switched from singing songs to looking at clips of things on the television monitors which got boring. then they decided to do the Studio C thing with just Chuck E and it's really horrible.

Things that bug me about the 3 stage show:

1.) Why did the curtains in all three stages need to be open? Why can't they just have the middle stage open to sing some songs and have the side stages curtains closed. You never saw Billy Bob and Rolfe's stages open when the middle stage curtains were open.

2.) Why did they put the drummer in the side stage where Billy Bob used to be? It would have been better if they put Pasqually in the middle stage with Munch, Helen, and Jasper, and then have somebody else be on the stage where Pasqually used to be.

3.) The building that came out that was behind Helen, what was that about? Why not just keep the sun. After all, they did keep the moon when they converted the Rock-afire Explosion to Munch's Make Believe Band. The building just looked weird.

4.) I was also confused as to who the leader of the band was. Was it Chuck E or was it Munch? The same thing applies to who was the leader of the Rock-afire Explosion. Was it Fatz or Billy Bob? They should have made it clearer.

I'll agree with you on several counts. I wonder why they didn't rig Jaspers's head up with Dook's ear levers so he could flop his ears. They might of had to swap mac valves and mess with air lines to do that tough... although it would've been cool. I think they moved the drummer off to the side to make it look different from the Rock-afire. I really think they should have left Pasqually out of the picture personally. I've seen him scare more little kids..... well, Fatz scared kids too.. so that hasn't changed..... anyway... I think they should have made Munch Jr. a regular character and had a multi colored WILD monster playing the drums.... would kind of remind me of "Animal" from the muppets if they did that..LOL!
Munch and the rest of the characters could have called him "Junior". I also always thought Jasper needed a shorter snout so his mouth lever would work better and he could open his mouth wider. There are a lot of things that could have been done. Some pretty neat things could have been done. If the drummer had been left on center stage... what would they have done with the other stage? It wouldn't have been easy to convert the Billy Bob mech into anything else. It would aslo have been pretty expensive to have a new character made to go on that stage. a converted Billy Bob would have looked like Billy Bob no matter what you tried. Of course Munch is always going to have that Fatz shape to me. I like the three stage because it uses the old Rock-afire mechs. You can still tell it used to be a RAE. But, anyway... they did what they did with Munch's Make Believe Band. It is how it is and it will probably always be that way until they finally retire it. Anyway..... I would definately say the three stage MMBB is my pick out of all of CEC's current shows.

I think it was like Fatz and Munch were the BAND leaders but Billy Bob and Chuck were the emcees...at least that's how it seemed from most shows. :)

I for one am a huge fan of the former three stage Chuck E. Cheese's/Munch's Make Believe Band shows! then the 1 and 2 stage shows come in secondly, road stage shows would come in 3rd place, studio C alpha shows i'd say 3rd place, since's i never did see a beta studio c show. i'd give that the same rating too. Definatly if i'd ever see a cappa studio c show in person i'd give it a zero rating. Mainly I love the full bodied CEC/MMBB stage show character's a whole lot! Studio C stage shows wouldn't be so bad if they haven't been so downsized to almost nothing. and the light affects are great. but what's a stage show without the rest of the robotic band memeber?!:/
