Just Got Back from CEC's #842

Hey! I haven't been to this one since 1995, and don't remember that much. Anyway, I went today and have a lot to say: It said it was under construction, but you couldn't really tell. The outside was changed to resemble a "Mexican" look, with the curves and orange shingles. The inside looked VERY different from what I remember. The parody posters were ALL gone! All they had were the "Postcards," "Mt. Rushmore," "Must C TV," "Magazine Covers," and the Helen, Munch and Chuck autograph pics, or the "3-D" eyes." Some of the rides I remembered were still here, and the trolley was painted blue, instead of what it used to be, green. They still had the control thing mounted on the wall from when it used to be "Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza," and it had the old logo. MMBB one-stage was still there, and on a diagonal wall. The show had obvious difficulties, and Chuck had a sports hat w/ tux. Stickers (from the prize counter) were on Munch's piaono, Jasper had a patch that said "Jasper" on it, and when Pasqually said a long sentance, his mouth would just han open, and heliterally hit and pounded on his drums during performance (is he programmed to do that)? There were even wrappers on the stage and 3 workers total (when I was there). Well, that's pretty much it. Just ask me something if you're wondering.

Do you have any photos of any of those one stage MMBB Show Characters!? LIKE OF HELEN, JASPER, MUNCH, CHUCK, OR PASQUALLY!? and how big is the place. just wondering cause i always like to find out about other Chuck E. Cheese stores. And that Chuck E. Cheese has a Mexican look to it on the outside? That is news to me MMBBfan327.:) I always love to find out about other Chuck E. Cheese stores. Is there talk about them pulling out That 1 stage MMBB show MMBBfan327? Cause if they would decided to pull it out. I'd like to get my hands on like possibly curtain items MMBBfan327.:D

Yes, I have some pics of the stage. This one is kinda small, but still pretty cool. It's the size of maybe the whole game/ kid rooms at a huge CEC. Yeah, it had orange shingles and a whitish-tanish look with a dome enterance, similar to the Danvers store. Not sure about them pulling it out. I'm a HUGE fan of MMBB, and I REALLY hate to say this, but it wouldn't hurt to consider a Studio C Cappa, or if they cared, maybe trying to fix the show. If they do pull it out, I'll see if I can get a couple things, if they even let people do that. By the way, for those of you who don't know, this is store:

I myself as you could probably tell by reading some post MMBBfan327 that i am a big fan of this show to myself. we have the old three stage format ever since early 80's back when showbiz was still in the picture.

If they do pull it out, I'll see if I can get a couple things, if they even let people do that.

They don't really let anyone, but people do manage to score some really cool stuff. It depends on the project coordinator, and also if you're willing to go "dumpster diving" after the crew has left.

Yeah, really! Anyway, I'm sure this may be the most popular CEC show, but that's just me. How may of you like this show? I know I do, and I'm sure everyone can say Nevin loves it.

The 3-Stage show is my favorite, too... it blows the others away. ;)

I've never actually seen a 3-stage. The ones here in Wisconsin are VERY far away from me, so I don't really have extra time to go out and see them. Does anybody have any videos? When was it the best--with the old masks or the newer ones?

I have lots of photos from my home store with the newer plastic mask on the bots. I have photos that I gave to travis but he hasn't reloaded my photos yet in the photo gallery and I gave alot more also from the time they were remodeling our which was in 2004. As I recall our very first remodeling phase was back in the mid 90's.

Good news! I'll hopefully be able to return to this store in a couple weeks or so, and I'm so excited!!! Hopefully they've helped out the show a bit.
