my question is why the cotton candy is so dang expensive? I remember when they had it for $1.00 now it's up to $1.99...

Greed.:b It costs next to NOTHING to make cotton candy, so it's a good money-maker. Sometimes, we'll throw in cotton candy to "sweeten" the deal of another purchase. Does anybody else give out their CC at night? I wouldn't want to sell day-old cotton candy- the texture tells all! :lol

Actually Jenn, since like 2003, stores have only had "Boo" Blue and "Silly Nilly" Pink. White was introduced for Winter 1Derland, then "sassy apple" was brought back for Super Chuck Summer. There was one time last year when McLane accidently sent us grape, it was fun for a week. Every store was drop shipped 2 cases of orange, and once that's gone, it's off the menu again.

:rollin What we do, is when our cotton candy loses its fluffyness over a period of a few days, we give that out instead of tickets during our road shows....kids LOVE it!
yeah i jus saved you a stomach ache . its ok but dont have 5 bags of it
WOW! You hade 5 bags of it???:x

Brian has a point, sugar costs nothing, and the machine to make is alrighty bought, so really all ur paying for is the electricity...
But!! you also have a point too, I honestly think cotton candy is worth 2.00$$ at CEC, sure it may of been a dollar at some point, but CEC needs to make money!!!:p :lol
BTW! Cotton Candy is $3.00 at Disneyland, so which one would you rather pay for???

I'm not a big cotton candy fan myself and this orange
flavor doesn't seem to make me want to change opinions.
We had the same cotton candy as PuroMax stated above
and simply have a crapload of cotton candy around back.
No need to make a lot of it everyday--- the only time we
really do is weekends or when we have super parties that
want promo cups, goodybags, lollypops and cotton candy.

But seriously though- this orange stuff... yeah, thats okay.
Two boxes is two too many... :b

yay! we finally got the orange yesterday! i love it!

here, they usually give the cotton candy away at night before closing. only fresh candy every day for us! :)

and $2 isnt bad at all. personally, i would rather buy fries with that $2, but still... it isnt bad. i usually just wait for night when its free or use 200 tickets. (i have thousands and thousands on voucher. ...i go to cec almost every day. twice today and yesterday btw. haha)
