CV2 Video update!

Thank you all for being all so very patient...

After several all-night marathon video editing sessions these past couple of weeks, most of the post-production work on the official Cheesevention 2 video has been completed. I just need to tidy up a bit on some of the "extras" that will be included from my end. Then the videotapes will be shipped out to Veganova within the coming week or so for DVD authoring and eventual distribution!

A reminder to everyone else who attended CV2 that may have their own video and/or digital still photos that can be included on the DVD, get those out to Veganova as soon as possible.

By the way, Vega...where DO we mail all this stuff for you to put together?

Yes folks...we have'nt forgotten about the CV2 dvd! Sorry it's taken so long, but i'm sure you will agree once you see it, the long wait was well worth it!

It will still take a few weeks once Travis recieves the Masters before any official release date is annouced. Also, i will need a little time to get the cover art designs finalised and finished. My guess right now is a mid-November launch. We'll see...

My advice: Start saving up your $$. We may have a special package deal availble like last time!

I have started some preliminary work on the cover design....i will more then likely finish it off once i view the final cut of the show.

Travis now has the VHS masters and will get to work on converting them to DVD as soon as possible.

In the meantime, I also sent J a low-speed VHS dub of the whole production so please head over to his place and let me know how you like it. :)

Woo hoo!! I am very much looking forward to seeing it! This week J and i will be getting togther to watch it. He has already snuck a peek at it ( lucky!) and i hear it's good stuff! I'll post a review once i have had a chance to check it out!

About a week ago we got togther and viewed over at J's place. We both liked it a lot, and it's far better then the original CV video. The footage was good, and i think the fans will be thrilled.

I am sending Travis master copies of some bonus material, including the "Seals, Monkeys, and CEI" video Aaron Fechter and Kerry produced. I am still trying to get the coverf art for the dvd finished. In the meantime it has passed our eyes and we give it a thumbs up.

Awesome work Richard!! Folks have no clue what is about to overtake the CEC World in a few weeks!

Latest update:

The cover design for the dvd case is now finished! Master tapes of all bonus footage are also on route to Vega.

This dvd will be packed with extras. As mentioned previously, the "Seals, Monkeys, and Creative Engineering" video will be on there in full along with a special segment featuring our own MatHat's video interview and coverage of the event! We have also decided to throw in not only Chuck's Bozo show appearence, but his comeback appearence the following weekend after CV2 as well! Woo hoo!!

This dvd will also have some audio commentary which is pretty funny...at least J and i thought it was. Vega will be overdubbing the original master copy of the commentary over what is currently on the disc to try to boost the quality of the sound.

Richard has included all the segments from his NY tv show broadcast that featured CV2 coverage which is very cool...including the late night interview Rapid T. Rabbit himself conducted after evenings festivites. Here you will "meet" many Board Members...and see me and J soaked in sweat after a long night of entertaining and fur jumping! Yikes!

Your right Danny! It was about a month later that Chuck went back. He also took a nasty fall that night (it doesnt loook that bad in the tape) I was hurting for about 3 weeks after that!

It was a month later...wow. I remember it being sooner...but yes, the kids missed Chuck E. big time!

When i look at this dvd footage, i can't help but think: How the HECK could we ever top this Event if there was to be another CV?? I have'nt a clue....this years' had it all it seemed!

Hi Richard!

Yes...J told me about it and when i finally saw the program myself it was surreal!

At first, i wondered why...but then realized the reason: J and I switched our voices during that and it would'nt have made much sense to your average viewer. Thanks for clearing that up! It's still really funny listening to the commentary...we have like 5 characters plus J and I commenting on what is being seen...it's a hoot!
