my best friend leah who works in another store had a fairly new cashier working the other night. i guess a family came up and asked if they had chicken fingers, she looked on the screen, saw them, told them yes and rung it up. leah was in the kitchen when the order for chicken fingers came up and was like, WTF!!! she had to refund their money and give them some tokens and obviously retrain that girl on the menu...

i got a kick out of it...

lol wow, that is a pretty funny story! :lol

We never even got to test the Chicken Fingers- there were some obscure items I found while exploring awhile back... (Lasagna, Mac 'n' Cheese, and Chicken Fingers is all I can remember at the moment. Possibly kiddie meals, too?)

hmmm, we're still going strong with the chicken fingers and CEC chicken nonsense up here in the cleveland market, yeah, i always get a kick out of the registers, like the mac and cheese always gets me, and today when i had to open cash, i hadn't even touched a register other than to ring up my employee meals since we got rid of the old POS....I about had a wtf moment and had to sit down when i realized that there was actually four different prices for the value meals, for each market i assume...man, gotta love having to think on the job...gotta earn the shirt and tie somehow I guess, why not by showing I can master the art of matching up the items we actually HAVE on our menu board ...
