Hi guys. I need help.
I tried it myself, researching and has been almost a year.
I am building my own Billy Wilbur, from Hard Luck Bears, in a much smaller scale to fit on the shelf.
I want to program it to play, I made up a quick training for Arduino, but it is quite complicated.
I need to understand how the RAE works, how can I build something to move it.
With Arduino I can move servo in real time, but I dont know how to record the imputs, then play it.
Its difficult to make smooth movements with servo.
In short, how can I save the imputs?
There is a software designed for this?
What person or website can I find answers.
I dont want to give up.
Thank you.

You're building this from scratch? Very cool! My brother and I have been doing some research for an original animatronic project, and we really like this website: http://www.bpesolutions.com
The RAE was/is tone controlled, and if you were working with them you would need to work in that system. We're doing that with our Rolfe to get him working and running RAE programming. But, that is older technology and there are other ways to program now. For our original project, we're probably going to use a DMX controller from a computer USB port.
Good luck with your Billy Wilbur, and post pictures!

OMG that's exactly what I was looking, I downloaded the demo version of the VSA and saw all possiblilidades, and is easy and practical. just need to purchase this card Rapu.
but it seems they do not ship outside the U.S.. but I'll worry about that later.
more than $ 300 is a reasonable price for a product so incredible.
Now I am relaxed I finish my Billy Wilbur when he is perfect I'll worry about the movement.
Thanks RetroGirl, now I have one less thing to worry about.

If shipping outside the US is a problem you could always ship to a trusted fan here in the states and they'll gladly send it to Brazil. ;)
