Chuck E Cheese collectible question ......anyone???????

Hi Everyone:

I came across a Small Red Van it's the same size as a Hot Wheels and it has a picture of Chuck E Cheese on both sides and on the top it says Chuck E Cheese's and the copyright says 1981 Pizza Time Theatre.I coud not find it on this website???Does anyone know anything about this red van???is it official???rare???

Yes it's "Official" merchandise.

This van is one of serveral that came out in the early 80's that featured Chuck E. I have a white van that sounds identical to your red one. I beleive there was a whole series, all the same vehicle ( a van) but different colors.

I would say it's not incredibly rare...but it's not a common, find-it-everyday type of thing either. As long as it has "Classic Chuck" on it, and it has the copyright date clearly written, it's a early piece. These were popular in 1982 and most stores had these in stock for prizes.

Worth holding on to though if you are into collecting CEC memoriablia!
