So I have made it. Heres how the first 2 weeks have gone.
Meet my DM and the GM from Bridgeville at the b-ville store on wed the 7th at 6am :x
i barely slept the night before cause i was so freakin excited. so we head on down. its about 3 1/2 hrs. so we get there around 10, walk in the door and the tech is standing there. DM asks how many games are tagged down. Oh, not many at all, its good. Just 4 skeeballs, dinoscore, crusin 1 and rubble bubble. my jaw hit the floor. i look at DM with total disbelief. we went 19 days straight in butler without a game down. dm goes with tech and fixes all the game problems. i explore. nice set up. perfect. nice and orderly kitchen, set up great. nice closet space. absolutely no organization or order anywhere. most rooms, although nice to have, total chaos. especially the too small merch room. so the first couple of days i kind of hang out with dm and get to know people, learn when they do produce, mclane, foland, safe code, blah blah blah.
come up with a tech plan, i have a fairly rookie ast. mgr. and a newly promoted o.c. its thursday at 1 pm, theres 4 families in the building and 6 cm. noting things in my head to fix. have to start writing stuff down, head is full.
lets skip ahead to now. its been 2 weeks. sorry, i opened today and then drove back home. ive been awake since 5 am and got 3 hrs sleep. we were second in our district in sales. labor went from 20% the week i wasnt there, 13% the first and a lovely 10.8% this past week. it ran like a finely oiled machine. ive got some great kids. some really really good ones. its been going soooooo well. i love it. and........

being that i need another manager - DM asked Leah (worked with her in butler for over a year, were like telepathic together and just freakin awesome), he asked leah to transfer. and she said yes. ill get here in about 2 weeks. every other store in the country doesnt stand a chance now. i WILL be #1. this store was below guide (by a lot) all last year. this month, as long as this week goes well, i will be above. this month and every month after. im on day 6 of no games tagged. it is going well
sorry for lack of stories and details, im just so freakin tired and looking forward to my 2 days off here at home. i plan to sleep all day tomorrow. if you have any questions, just ask and i will answer. as for now, my brain is about ready to go on strike.
