Smile America commercial with revised balcony stage (no Guest).

I think I found something worth talking about in the Smile America ad. :)

Look at the shot of the balcony about 10 seconds into the ad.

The standard order from left to right SHOULD be as follows:

Munch, Jasper, Chuck E., Guest, Pasqually.

but on the video all you see is:

Pasqually, Chuck E., Jasper, Munch.

in that order.

At first, I thought the camera shot was just reversed for some reason, but if that was the case; you'd still see the Guest in between Chuck E> and Pasqually in the commercial; but you don't- you just see the four characters without the Guest at all.

In other words; they left the Guest out on purpose; and then they reversed the order of the characters (or reversed the shot, I guess).

Just thought that was interesting.

Oh wait, is that Harmony in between Chuck E. and Munch in the ad? Okay; in that case; Jasper's missing. Still weird.

Somewhere back in the archives we had discussed this - and there is a good possibility Jasper is behind cec from the perspective - but definitely not in order. Don't remember all the speculations now...

I can't seem to find it at the moment, but somewhere I have a black and white promotional photo of the "new" balcony stage (I believe at the 2nd location - Kooser store) that shows Foxy - and she's reversed with where Jasper should be.

CaptSlappy might be able to shed some light on this. I'm curious to know if on that Foxy I reel, the characters face the wrong way when running that show on the typical setup. I know there's some curious things to see when watching the oldest reels we have on Mike's show (like how Munch and Pasqually fall dead in places when they'd normally behind the doors on an original shelf stage).

Harmony I might have been a bit of a transitional tape too - somewhere we had that photo from a magazine that showed the shelf/portrait show but with Harmony in it (2nd generation cyberamics retrofitted into the old portrait frames).
