Every Kid is a Winner

Ok im positive about this promo, "Every Kid is a winner." This is a good idea here, CECE actually (sort of) came up with something on there own here!!:lol
Each kid (12 & under) that walks in is handed a gamecard. This game card has a sticker on it saying: YOUR A WINNER!!! YOU WON: 5, 10, 15, 20 tokens (veries by sticker.) So the kid redems the sticker in for there tokens.
This is a cool idea, (a pain in the butt for cashiers.) This really proves that every kid is a winner, that they receive tokens while they walk in and that they receive at least 1 ticket from games etc etc etc...
This has a soft start on December 22nd. But it officially starts December 26th thru March 31st.

BTW: Cast receives new lanyard pins and tags and the store gets signs posters etc...

every kid is a winner does sound like a good promo, maybe in hopes to bring back some of the crowd that didn't really jump on board with 1derland, super chuck, or even summer of fun, i really think the best thing to come of any of those promos was that the cast and managers could wear hawaiian shirts, sadly they just didn't turn out well. We'll miss you ricey, but alas, every kid's a winner to me sounds good, it's old school, something we've been saying since way back and it should help bring some people in because they will automatically get free stuff....now the downfall, what was corporate thinkin? first of all they're on the backs of every rm, dm, and gm, about sales and profits and how much is being wasted at your store....am i the only one that realizes how much we're gonna waste with this promo? OH WELL I GUESS! ! ! Should still prove to be interesting.

Geez....it looks to me that CEC has sunk so low now that they have to lure people in with free tokens to get them in the door!!

Maybe if they had their act together to begin with, and actually HAD something to attract Guests in the first place ( as in a awesome show, truly great food, and honest value for the dollar) they would'nt have to be forced to do this.

I shudder to think of how all these "free" giveaway tokens are going to effect the Merch Cost, and the prizes for that matter. It seems whenever CECE decides to do a big token increase, or free token giveaways, the prizes at Merch get downgraded even more. Is it even possible at this point to cheapen the lower ticket items at this point?

I'm sure it will be a promotion that will be a succes with Guests....but in the end you have to look at the big picture and wonder where this is all going.

maybe you guys wont believe me, but i actually foresee people going in to let their kids play the free tokens, crawl around the free skytubes for a while, and then leave. without spending a penny. and the adults will sit in the free showroom to watch the free show while their kids play. i mean, why would they want to watch their kids? kid check is the new free babysitter in town.

i think they should have kept the 1 free token per kid at entry, and maybe give a gamecard with the purchase of a pizza or something.

Nah...save it.

The pin only went that high becuase nobody in the collectors field really has their hands on one yet since they were just issued.

Give it a month or two and you will find them on E-bay much cheaper.

ok i will say one thing i dont like about ekaw...

the round stickers that the kids keep with chuck e on them - they dont stick to their shirts!! i find them EVERYWHERE. i mustve picked up like 9 of them just in the gameroom last night when i was sweeping.

thats what my friends and i were talking about as we visited 6 cecs :P. none of the stupid stickers stayed on. and yes, they were everywhere at all cec's. and since im more used to seeing coupons that are round and the same color, all day longer i kept getting tricked into thinking that i saw free token coupons everywhere. :lol then i would get closer and see that it was just another stupid "non"-sticker. lol.

didnt anyone who invented this idea actually try a sticker on before ordering 50 million of them? lol! seems like they woulda noticed this little problem if they had.

oh no, dont worry. the stickers wont get stuck to the games, only the floor. the have the stickiness compareable to game down stickers, only not quite as strong....

Haaaaaaa... yeah I have been finding the stickers everywhere. You just have to hold the kid by the back of the head then push the sticker on them with all your strength. Punch it a time or two and it'll stay fine. Now THAT'S hospitality!

UPDATE: our store is having a big sucess with the every kids a winner thing. our store is doing so well that we have to give the show and gameroom attendants 100 tokens and kids can redeem them with them and not mudrer cash
