Is there any chance of having a separate channel for Rock-afire and Chuck E. Cheese shows? As a ShowBiz fan, it's a real cold shower to hear the C.E.C. stuff. I'm sure there are others who may feel the same way in the other direction. I hope the station creators will consider making a second station. Thank you.

i sort of like it the way it is- I just wish that full showtapes were played instead of segmetns from individual showtapes. And I wish the "Themed days" were dropped for a more random mix of material.

I agree it would be nice to hear the entire show in sequence. However, I still think at least the current C.E.C. shows should not be on the same channel. There is nothing retro about them. Besides, those laugh tracks, the corny humour, and the songs are pretty awful. At least on the old C.E.C. tapes Chuck was still a likeable as*hole and the chef didn't sound like a child molester. I reiterate my proposal for a separate Rock-afire/ShowBiz channel, or at least an all '80s era channel.

It's a good idea and I'm sure Travis has considered this when we brought back Radio Showbiz from the graves.

There's a couple problems though:

1. If we cater to one station per genre, we'll be running 10+ stations. RAE fans would want their own station, then PTT would come on here asking for one, then we'd get requests for birthday stations, the requests will never end for more and more different stations.
Plus, avid listeners know how much trouble we have keeping 1 station running, I couldn't imagine how many complaints we'd get for operating 2 or more at a time.

2. Radio stations provide a wide spread of music. Let's say you're a fan of Pop music, but can't stand Pink. When you tune into a station featuring todays pop songs, and Pink comes on, what are you going to do? Besides turning off the radio or changing stations, you'll most likely bite your tongue and listen through it. You can try calling in making a request to never play Pink again, but do you really think they're gonna honor that request?
Point being, radio stations play whatever the hell they want no matter the listeners tastes knowing that they'll bite their tongue and listen through their likes and dislikes.

So knowing that we'd be playing a variety of Showbiz/PTT/CEC, why do you we called it Radio Showbiz? :D

I stopped listening because the radio tends to play the same songs over and over. Thats the only problem I have with the radio. It would be nice to have CEC and PTT stuff separate though as I'm not always in the Rock-afire mood and sometimes the radio plays like 10 Rock-afire songs in succession followed by a MMBB song I'm sick of.
