6 Month CEC Hibernation Starts in July

I might be overreacting, in fact you can all agree I am.

After hearing recent news about the future shows after April 2006, I figured I'd take a break from CEC for the next 6 months. July-the end of December 06. Someways it can be awkward for me, but than it can actually give me other things that I can check out to see, which I know you guys do outside the board. As for myself, I never got around much, so in the summer I can just do different things with my time. CEC is one of the biggest parts of my life. Although of coarse many could survive a while without it, it'll be tough for me, don't know why, could do with my Aspargers syndrome. CEC is always there though, I can wait out on it. And between July-December I ain't missing much. I am in fact also a big Disney fan, and I guess I don't learn much about the imagineering or parks as some of you guys do(especially ones who work there) because I have been more hooked on CEC. Guess I'm leaving Disney out of the cold, and well, if I want to be part of Disney's cast team as an adult I gotta get in to it more. But than there's CEC, not being negative, it's just that it weirdly gets into my life every day. Like having to go see the show playing at stores as many times before it retires, or learning show info, fan drawings, project ideas never created etc. I guess now I can see what's coming and I can take a short vacation from what I can see down the road.

I posted this to see what your opinions on this could be. Of coarse I know I can make my own decisions, I just want to see if you guys think I'm over the top or just in range that it's nothing but repeats for the next 6 months starting in July. >D :lol

P.S. This doesn't count CV-3 I am no doubt still gonna be there.

This is NOT going to be bad at all....Summer 06 is going to be like Summer 05, the same show, but a designed to the Summer Promotion. Sept. 06 I think is going to rock! With awesome songs CEC has made since Jan. 03, all those will rock the Sept. show..(Pollution is Crazy, What up, Pepproni, All you need is love0] )
Now, for the Holiday show, yes, I might join you in some good Beauty sleep...I, and my fellow co-workers ARE SICK:x of the Holiday show, same ole' songs over and over again....

Anyways Matt, with this beauty sleep your getting, ur gonna go from Anger Managment (>: ) to (:D ) !!!!:rollin

i'll join you all! this month i did'nt make any special trips to cec. nothing changed. is cec actually getting boring. hmm maybe this summer they have a big surprise for us and no one except Mike Miguisak and Dick Frank know of it. same thing with dept 18. they might have a new summer tape ready and there not telling. that would be something...


(what i mean by special getting up at 5am traveling 80 miles just to see the same location and same tape that has been playing for months now.)

What the Smurf is the Entertainment Dept. going to be DOING during those 6 months then??? Do they even HAVE a Entertainment Dept. anymore i am wondering???

I'm a bit miffed about this....it SUCKS big time and it seems to be getting bigger and suckier as time goes on!

Actually Jenn, here's a couple things that'll make you calm...

The April show's live will be the Shuffle, a remake!

And during September 06's run, Dept. 18 will be working on a brand new Summer show for 2007!

Remeber they also have to produce all the other tapes for the company too..training tapes, quarterly tapes etc...IDK if they'll be this stuff during the 6 months but I think they can easily find other work to be doing...And just like the stores themselves..I think the dept. is given a budget and told whether or not they can do a new tape here or there..maybe Mix can shine some light on this..cause I think it were ultimatly up to the dept. alone, I think they'd be churning out ALOT more shows...
