its all fun to talk about east vs. west with sales and such, but we all know it all comes down to profit. you can have the highest sales store, but if you dont get a ton of profit out of it, who gives a crap. you suck. a monkey could get a store above profit guide - i think i proved that. the store was 5.5 below scale for all of last year, (dec was 25 pts below scale) jan i was 3.1, feb i was 4.5 and for march i was 5.3!!
anyways, our district was #1 in the region, (woooohoooo) and #2 in the whole company. the other district beat us by .1 >:
i was #3 in the district, greensburg beat me by .2 but bridgeville crushed me, they were 9.1
its funny cause bridgeville is where i grew up, my home store (started there as a cm) and my only goal now is to beat my old GM. i told him i was going to in march, and when the p&l's came out, he kept calling me. it was hilarious. i was making a pizza and one of my cm came back and said 'um, you have a phone call, he calls himself the king of the world' hahah.
i also got a phone call from god. i get on the phone (i knew it was him) - 'so i hear i have a phone call from god?' he says, 'its about time you recognize who i am!' and hung up. it was freakin hysterical. god i love what competition does to someone, im going to destroy him this month!!!!!
