It was a bad idea to leave those valuables unattended in the first place. He could have saved himself and his family a lot of stress just by not being so incredibly negligent towards his valuable belongings.

At least it ended well for him, and now he has an interesting story to tell people, I guess. =P

I recommend the Android version of that app to customers all the time. It really goes to show you that these kind of apps really do work and they can help get back personal property, but yes, as a general rule you really shouldn't leave valuables unattended like that in the first place.
