Hey guys, I just got back from a long 2 day trip from visiting what is probably known to be the most historic CEC out there on the historic field:

#3024 Chuck E. Cheese's Burlington, VT on Buttmunch Ave. 51777.

As I entered the parking lot, which was hidden in the way back of an alley, I jumped out of my car in excitment to view the old exterior sign hanging above the enterance. I raced to the door and opened it up, going inside expecting to get my hand stamped, to my susprised, no Kid Check.

You heard it here, when I went over to the front counter asking about kid check, the woman behind the counter responded to me, "What's Kid Check"? I decided not to explain and just ordered my food. I noticed the prize counter had some vintage items, and had the glass window from the 80s as well still hanging.

I went into the large showroom, with a huge balcony to sit in. And speaking of balconies, this location still had the classic PTT Balcony show still running in operation, and in perfect condition I might add, they even still had the clapperboard and the waving flags in the showroom. The show was run off VCR with two monitors hanging to the side of Munch and Pasqually with speakers as well. The show playing was Best Of CEC TV 1993 since their April show hasn't arrived quite yet. Parody Posters filled the showroom walls, including some old SPP ones.

After I ate my meal, I decided to have a look around the store, and I went far back into the 3 acre gameroom, and way in the back was a Cabarete lounge room with none other than the KING, still operating and performing his best Elvis songs.

That room also led to another room, and more amazment filled me up, yes I walked into a very historic sight:

The Ice Cream Emporium!

Yes that's right folks, one more Ice Cream Emoprium still exists, and it's only at the Burlington, VT CEC location. Sadly they took out the Little Shavers just a few years ago, but still had photographs hanging up on the wall.

I traveled back through the gameroom, seeing typical modern games, and some older games from the 80s. I walked to the playroom seeing they still had the ball pits, and the only modern thing in this CEC, the skytubes. I saw some older rides there as well, including an old carosal, a mini-Ferris wheel, and the rocketship that goes up and down.

I went back into the showroom and the show had been shut off for a LIVE show. To my surprised when it started, ALL 5 characters came out on the floor for "Chuck E. March 1993" and marched all over the store with the kids. It was quite magical to see and reminded me of the magic days of CEC when I was younger. After that, the band, along with the band(lol) did a rendtion of Birthday Star 1992 for the birthday guest. I got some pictures of me and the fab five as well as the store itself, it rocked, and was a great experiance I found that after rumors of hearing this store closed, I found to see it still existed, and is a franchised store!

OH and one more thing for CEC nuts before they decide to visit this store

I suggest the best day to go is April 1st, that is according to what the manager told me.

APRIL FOOLS! GOTCHA!

Thanks guys, I actually have noticed the number of posts in this forum section of the board have been downsized just a bit, no harsh posts were made in this thread because of the joke and than were deleted right?

Nice fictional visit to a CEC in Burlington, Vermont CEC location. I don't think the state of Vermont has a CEC location as of yet for real, although the state of New Hampshire has 2 CEC locations (both former CECPTT locations) and Maine got a CEC location in Portland, Maine a few years ago (prior to that, Portland, Maine had a SPORTS BAR RESTAURANT called PIZZA TIME which was not connected to CECPTT).
