OMG! I'm glad everything is going ok. My Mother has had multiple strokes in the past, but she hasn't had one in almost 3 years now! I know how scary that must've been. Also I'm sorry about your Grand mother, but wow to live 94 years? Now that's a good life. :)

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad and grandmother. My great grandmother had multiple strokes in 2009. I found her on the floor one day after she had a stroke and fell. She never woke up again.

I'm so sorry about your dad and grandmother! My grandpa got sick and had a stroke in 2009. He used to act younger than his age and refused to retire (at 82!) until he got sick. He is a lot weaker now and still has difficulty accepting it, and it's been hard on everyone especially my grandma. I lost my other grandpa to brain cancer in 2005. I'm so glad to hear your dad is better though! I hope he stays healthy. You and your family are in my prayers. :)

I feel for you and my prayers are with you, my dad was just diagnosed with earley onset alzhimers, and my sister had a stroke at 32 just a few years ago. Its a long hard road back from a stroke, but also it depends on what part of the brain was affected by the stroke and how long the blood was cut off, those are all things that can increase or decrease the rate of recovery. The brain can reroute the nero pathways and you can retrain your brain to work, it takes a long time and alot of patience. God be with you and your family I know this is a hard thing to deal with and if you want I am willing to chat if you need help copeing.
