Am I the only one who's noticed that over the last couple years; the people writing the showtape scripts have added a lot of "We really appreciate you kids. We love you! Thanks for being here with us!" (and so on) into the outros to the songs? They aren't just quick little asides- they seem to go on for quite awhille in some cases (sometimes with other characters chiming in saying basicly the same thing).
It's like they're making it a point to endlessly praise the kids in the showroom for simply being there (?). There has to be a reason for that, right? I don't think the kids care about that as much as Corperate thinks they do.
They've really been piling it on over the last couple years. If you listen to Radio Showbiz you'll notice it more than you might at an actual CEC because they play so many different showtapes from the modern era.
