How do they determine which stores get beta and which get cappa? I am wondering since they are opening a new store in escondido.

Smalltown stores usually get Cappa, otherwise the "bigger" stores will get Beta. Smalltown stores are like closet-sized CEC's, lol.

i live in michigan and the closest cappa store is in Port Huron Mi. i believe they net only $1,000.00 a weekend thats what i heard. maybe it was 10,000.00 but i'm not certain. It's pretty nice but i don't think it was right for the area since it was located in a huge mall.

Well, in reality most CEC's end up at or very close to shopping malls. It's been like this for quite some time...even PTT's were being opened up in shopping plazas right next door to K-Mart. It makes sense to them as it's where the Guests are that they are trying to attract.
I don't know in full how the Smalltown layouts go....as in the larger "Full Scale" CEC locations tend to open up right in a strip mall setup, while the older locations tend to be in the old style shopping plazas. I would assume the "Smalltown" CEC's would also be located near business areas similar to these....but i digress.....
"Cappa" ( or known fondly on this Board as "Crappa") is only used in Smalltowns as noted above. If your new location is a Full Sizer, then you will definately be getting a "Beta". You can tell in a instant which one you will end up with by just checking out the CEC as it's being built from the outside. If it's square foot lease space is about the size of a grocery store, then chances are its a 'Full" and you will get "Beta"
If it looks more like a Pizza Hut stuck between two buildings...(lol!)....then expect a "Crappa".
Hope this helps!
