I think it was posted at some point when it happened and I think someone said about 4 or 5 were total losses.

I dont belive it was Capt... There were only 2 in New Orleans, LA and the Veterans location is already back open to my knowledge.
Then there was the Slidell, LA location, not sure of its status... but it was far enough away from Lake Ponchatrain that it shouldn't have been effected to bad.
Gulfport and Hattiesburg, MS locations were closed for a few weeks but both have been back open for a while. Hattiesburg actually had more damage than Gulfport which is weird.... but then again that mostly is due to the roof on the mall in Hattiesburg blowing off.... and Gulfport was a stand a lone.
If there were any that was a TOTAL loss it would be one of the New Orleans (Gretna) one.... NO others would have sustained that much damage.

Ok I can't stand by my numbers there. I am just recalling someone said that. Since this is 2nd or 3rd hand it may or may not be accurate. You are probably right.

Hey guys, I live in new Orleans. Wanted to update you on the progress of the 2 CEC's here. Both are still closed. On one location (Westbank location) there was a building permit for renovation and repair of Hurricane Katrina damage, dated 5/17/06. I peeked in the windows and I had an unbelievable experience, all the sheetrock is removed, ducts, wires, etc. In the background I saw the MMBB 3 stage without cosmetics. All the props and scenery were in place but the animatronics were naked. Today I could see clearly the Helen robot and the only cosmetic she had on were the foam leg pieces and shoes. Mr Munch had his keyboard he had no cosmetics on at all. I saw Jasper with his guitar and all he had on were his red sneakers. I looked really good and could see Pasqually with no cosmetics, but he had his drums with PizzaCam naxt to him without his box. I could see Chuck with no cosmetics. The bigscreen TV was next to him. How cool is that! This MMBB was the first retrofit RAE/concept unification that I've seen. I was there last summer right before Katrina hit. They don't have Munch Jr, the singing building, or the moon there.
The other New Orleans location, Veterans Blvd location, is much worse. It is all gutted still. All the sheetrock, animatronics, videogames are all gone. This location looks like HELL. There's no indication of any progress toward rebuilding or re-opening it. There are huge dumpsters outside the building. This location was Studio C Alpha.
I sure hope both our New Orleans locations re-open in the not-too-distant future. I hope this gives you all a good update.......Clarke

Mitzi Rocks: I wish you have gotten photos of the worsened by Hurricane Katrina New Orleans area CEC locations.
If both you talked about get remodeled, will they get new games and rides and a new Studio C show in Cappa format or Beta format?
