L.E. Update

My store recieved a Pirate L.E. about a month ago, and this week we recieved a Nascar Chuck L.E. Its pretty cool, hes dressed up in a Nascar suit, and he has a racing helmet in one of his hands.

If someone can do me a favor, and post all the L.E. that came out (in order) including the Vegas chuck, CV2 chuck, Spoon Chuck (:b )and Travis's SP.com L.E. chuck, that would be great, thanks.

We have still not seen the Pirate Chuck's here where i live. All i see is Fiesta Chucks ( that are not selling...groan!) so it will be ages until we get any new editions.

I have been collecting these plushes since day 1 of release way back in October of 2000. Here is a complete list, including 3 rare editions. Note there is also many "Test Sample" dolls floating about ( Danny E. has one) so in actuality there are more then on this list. This list however is mostly of "official" releases, and in order of release.

Damn I'm missing like 7 all the exclusives of course and a couple of bday ones. :rolleyes Too hard to keep up when they release 6 a year and not all stores have them yet...I gotta get these 2 that just came out though, they sound cool :eek

I don't but them there, but when i browse the CEC section i often come across them eventually.

Last one i saw was a Graduation Chuck last month. They usually go for anywhere between $6 to $15 on E-bay from what i have seen.

The rarer of the lot, not including the obvious one-offs ( Vegas Chuck an example) are Graduation Chuck and Pumpkin Chuck. Grad Chuck had a low amount made as they wanted to be sure to sell out before the Summer. Pumpkin Chuck is hard to find as they did'nt make enough of him to meet the demand. He was the most popular selling one at that time ( along with the original Birthday Chuck from 2001) and most stores in this area sold out within 2 weeks of shipment. The Company then decided to make more of each future addition, the next being Reindeer Chuck. These did not sell as well as the others......at least here that was the case.

Another interesting bit relating to these plushes.....when the Fireman Chuck was issued in early 2002 it caused quite a uproar up here on the East Coast. 9/11 had only happened a few months before it's release, and many Guests were upset about the plush. It was dressed in a fireman outfit, but with a US flag patch on the jacket ( like a mini patch). It gave many the impression CEC was jumping on the bandwagon and cashing in on the disaster. i know a lot of folks expressed that the dolls should have raised money to be donated to help the families of 9/11....but that was not the case. This Limited Plush, of all of them, did'nt go over as well as may have been intended.

Hey, you forgot the "Sporty Chuck" with the cell phone from 2004. I love these, as they're the coolest collectable CEC has come out with in modern times in my opinion.

I'm sure CEC was just trying to cash in on the patriot bandwagon after 9/11... something like that could have been handled a bit more sensitively though. And pirate chuck? Sounds cool, but one can only speculate the coincidence since 'Pirates 2' is coming out in a few weeks.

Spoon Chuck E. was just a mock of these ultra-rare ones that are produced by the company and handed out to a few corporate higher-ups (making us collectors red with anger and green with envy). And by the way, Spoon Chuck doesn't count for anything. :rollin

PS - I still need the Grad Chuck, Reindeer Chuck, and everything from Christmas tree Chuck onward for my collection. I have lots of traders of older ones if anyone wants to trade. ;)

I finally got my hands on a Pirate Chuck LE this past weekend....they are very hard to find up here it seems.

Can anyone confirm is this is indeed a REAL ( as in "licensed" NASCAR item? Pretty sweet if so...
