A TV Spoof on Chuck E Cheese's

Actually saw this a long time ago. Its an episode of Back to the Barnyard called "Arcade of Doom." I was actually surprised at how basicly dead on they went from the Ticket Blaster to the Animatronic show. Check out the first two minutes of the episode and see for yourself.......

I have seen TONS of cartoons spoofing CEC. There's a Fairly Oddparents epsiode where they open with Timmy at a Bday at "Chunky Chedders". Theres a Family Guy epsiode where kids have terrible parties at a CEC type restraunt with the mascot being a mouse. Theres also an epsiode of the Disney show Phineas and Ferb where the villan has a flashback to a Bday party with pizza, a walkaround, and animatronics in the background.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. Its just this particular episode just seemed to stand out from the rest as to the most accuracy and originality.

You know, I think this might be the third time I've seen that gag where a character falls in love with one of the animatronics. I hear there was an episode of The Mighty B! that used it, and there was also an episode of Chowder that ended with a character dueling the manager in a fighting game-styled sequence to win the animatronic's affection.

I remember a few of these. An early one I think think of is Bart Simpson having his B-day at "Wall E. Weasel's" with the animatronic band shown being in disrepair with one of the characters getting caught on fire. Later on, the first episode of Daria had her basically tricking her family to go to such a restaurant just to see the look of humiliation on their faces as a walkaround crew come over to sing. Those cartoons obviously look at these establishments from an adult's point of view where just simply going there may be hell on earth for many to endure.
