Went through a bunch of Florida newspapers (on Microfilm) and found some great information. Enjoy!

The January 13, 1980 Boca Raton, Florida newspaper article about CECPTT is taken from a Christian Science Monitor newsservice. And at the time there were 6 CECPTT's in California, maybe more opened in 1980. And Pizza Showtime was the working name for what would become ShowBiz Pizza Place? It mentions CECPTT opening locations in Nevade but nothing about the Utah state (A CECPTT in Odgen, Utah opened in 1979-1980 and closed by 1993 even with the old CECPTT logo store front still up by 1991-1992!)

I think I remember 3 out of 6 CECPTT locations in California open at the time in 1979:
San Jose (2 locations?)
Huntington Beach
Stockton/Lodi

can you look through old newspaper microfilm anywhere else other than the public library?
i've got to look up my old PTT's here in Tx very soon.

Wow that's cool how it mentions the Ice Cream Parlour and The Little Shavers(Barbershop Quartet) I need to get to our main library and check out what if any microfiche we have... I have a feeling they got rid of the viewers though by now... Hmmm interesting project to look into!
