the first time I went to Chuck E Cheese after it changed from Showbiz I have a fun memory to share I had been living in italy with my parents ( my dads job transferred him there for 2 years) and I got to come back to Colorado for my birthday( I think this was about in 1991 )and stay at my friends Sarah and Melissas house. well it was my birthday and I told melissa i wanted to go to showbiz and she told me it was chuck e cheese now so i said okay then lets ask your parents if we can go to chuck e cheese so we did and her parents cindy and gordon said NO WAY . so we were really upset and we were sitting on the sofa trying to think of a way to get them to take us and Sarah melissas older sister I think she was about 14 at the time said "well i have an idea lets turn the tv on to cartoons and wait for a chuck e cheese commerical and then we all jump up and shout out the song and then say PLEEEEASE take us to chuck e cheeses!!! so we sat and watched cartoons for about 2 hours and just as we were about to give up the CEC commercial came on and we jumped up and shouted the song and then begged and gordon laughed so hard he said alright alright we can go.. lol
all i really remember about actually being at CEC that day was Sarah went in the ball crawl with us and one of the employees came and made her get out told her she was to big she was so mad cus me and melissa stayed in there i think we were about 9 or so lol i wish i remembered more cus i know it was a really great day:lol
