I was looking around the Hillwood Strike and Spare website yesterday ( http://www.strikeandsparebowling.com/S%26S_Family_Entertainment/Locations.html ) and noticed that there is a Circus World adjoining the big bowling/arcade areas. ( http://www.strikeandsparebowling.com/S%26S_Family_Entertainment/Hillwood.html ) I was wondering if this was always there or if this is new because I don't remember reading about Circus World when I last went to the website. If this is indeed new I'm wondering if the animatronic show was the one originally sold on eBay? ( http://www.showbizpizza.com/photos/misc/animatronics/index.html ) I remember going to Circus World as a child at one of the Chicago locations that has been long closed, so seeing this has my curiosity up. One other thing I'm wondering is if this is the location that the Rock-afire Mini Stage is at? If this Circus World location is new then does that mean that they have taken out the RAE? Hopefully I've got my locations right because I know there are a bunch of Strike and Spare locations that are in TN.
Hopefully somebody will know the answer to these questions.

1. Where in IL was it located?
2. How long was it open?
3. Any pictures and/or video of the ones in IL?

What happened to Strike and Spare's RAE after it was taken out?:choochoo: :bbsad::bbangry: When was it taken out? One good thing did come with it, They had the Circus World show take their place.:bb_happy2: I hope the Circus world show is in better shape then their RAE was. Does Aaron (of CEI) know about this?

So on the way back from my road trip I stopped at the Circus World inside the Strike and Spare Entertainment Center in Hendersonville TN. 30 minutes from the Strike and Spare Rock-afire Mini Stage in Nashville TN. Surprisingly the show ran well if you look past the mouth movements not working on 2 out of the 4 characters which was probably the biggest problem. Unfortunately, the characters where dressed up for Halloween and did not have their traditional cloths/costumes on, also two characters had masks on.
I asked the manager, somewhat reluctantly, if she could take the pumpkin off of the lion since he is the ring leader of the show, but she had claimed that it had taken three people to put the mask on and did not want to remove the mask, which was somewhat of a shame..... Oh well beggars cant be choosers. I posted some videos on my Youtube page so enjoy!!

The theater area was actually closed. It is reserved for, I believe, birthdays only. There is another place for eating in the restaurant, and besides we went on a Monday evening there were not a whole lot of people there and those who where there were bowling.

Y'know you can tell I'm from Wisconsin when the words "Circus World" brings to mind the Circus World (Museum) in Baraboo that puts on the Great Circus Parade in Milwaukee ... y'know I keep thinking it would be cool if this place ever decides to sell their RAE that CWM could buy it for an exhibit. LOL Course then people would have to go up to Baraboo to see it, but hey...!

I think I went to that TN Circus Pizza more than 10 years ago for my little brother's birthday. If I recall correctly they were building an ice skating rink, but I could be wrong. Maybe it was somewhere else?
