Wow!!! They got the Phase IV remodel, and kept the 1-stage!!! It's so different now, and yet kinda cool in its way. First, the Good News:
*Kept the 1-stage
*New and fresh looking
*More games
The Bad:
*The "Must C TV" and "Postcards" were taken down
*Chuck E. Cheese's Memory Match is gone!!!! :(
*Those stupid new posters are up (Friends, Family, etc.)
The whole store is now one big room, and I mean that. There's no walls in the middle. Just a big open space. Also, the Toddler Zone is now actually part of the (former) showroom. It's almost next to the stage. Same with the Skytubes. Those were moved to the showroom. As for the show, some things were wrong on it. Chuck's jaw was seriously scraped up. Helen has an open mouth, and her eyes were kinda "flopsy." Also Pasqually didn't move his mouth at all. Other than that, I am SOOOOO glad they kept the stage. If anyone is down in West Allis, I advise you to check out this store!!!

I think I know why they got rid of CECMM, the screen was a bad color.

I flew up to Wisconsin and spent my birthday at the store I grew up going to...good 'ol West Allis Hwy 100 Store...I was very upset to see the drastic Phase 4 remodel to the store. It looks like crap! There is no Showroom anymore, and the Chuck robot was looking a bit beat up. I was also surprised to see that this was the ONLY store remodeled in Wisconsin. Yeah, I actually made stops at almost all of the other stores up there, and even though the store might have needed a remodel, I hated to see it. I think getting rid of the Showroom was a BIG mistake. The capacity of the store was over 700 before, but with the removal of all of those booths and tables the capacity is 516!

I'm just happy they kept the 1-stage. I do hate the fact that they took down all the old posters, and yeah, it looks kinda corny now with the Skytubes in the (former) showroom. I do like the purple walls though. Hey, at least Chase doesn't look like this, and actually has a showroom with that authentic "theatre" look. And by that, I mean the fact there's a showroom, booths as far as the eye can see, and the Must C TV posters still lined up.

I know the time will come for Chase to get the Phase 4 remodel as well, but for now I'm glad to see it's still got that good 'ol huge showroom with all the posters. I guess I'd feel different about the remodels if that didn't mean getting rid of showrooms and putting really bright florescent bulbs in place of the old can lights and dimmers. I just feel like it's all one big mess now, no separation between dining/showroom and gameroom. It makes watching the show harder because of all the noise from the games and kids nearby.

I was there on Monday night. Wow... It is a lot like the Irving store, but w/o a true show room. My major shock was the removal and relocation of the frontage sign along 108th street. This store is tucked in the corner of a stripmall, and is completely blocked to anyone heading north. There is a Pylon sign near the road that lists CEC and a few other stores in the shopping center, but it is a tan and white mess. It matches the architecture, but is completly impossible to see to passing traffic. What a shame.

Seems like this is the case at alot of CEC's in shopping centers...IDK if they HAVE to go with what the shopping center says or not??

That's how Chase Ave. is!!! They used to have this HUGE sign, and now it's identical to West Allis' sign and is barely noticeable. Not to mention Chase's store is RIGHT after going down a hill where a bridge is straight ahead, so you don't know when to turn into the parking lot, haha. Also with West Allis, it's located next to Pet World, and Pet World's sign is HUGE, and I mean HUUUUUGGGGEEEE!!!!! Yet they still keep it up and CEC gets a tiny little piece of crap. Ugh.

well i remember when they moved the bridgeville store from one end of the parking lot to the other, and a different red light entrance - they used to have a big massive sign right on the road but when they moved they wouldnt let them move the sign, they had to just put the little one on with all the other stores in the plaza. something about a new township ordinance or something....at least you can still see it right in front of you as you go down the hill

Pizzacam, yeah they do have to go by what the strip mall owners say, sadly.
When I went to open my first business (game store in Wauwatosa, then moved to west allis) we found that there were VERY strict rules the strip centres have, such as parking and signage.

As for the West Allis location, that is interesting, and if i get a chance I plan on checking it out, but i so rarely get up to milwaukee area...
How is the chase ave store holding up? I know last time i was there, the bots were barely functioning, and the store seemed quite dark. This was about....6 months or so ago though.
