Believe it or not, after years of being just another intermission feature on CEC-TV, the VeggieTales (http://www.bigidea.com) have actually made it to "real" Saturday Morning TV, as part of the new Quobo lineup being aired over NBC, Telemundo, and the I Network.
Episodes of the CGI-animated cartoons are airing minus any Christion or Biblical references, bowing to NBC network guidelines that prohibit any outright religious preaching that may offend those that have differing or no spiritual beliefs at all.
VeggieTale's appearances on CEC-TV were limited only to their secular "silly songs", though I do remember "I Can Be Your Friend" being on a couple of showtapes and specifically mentioning the God's love. That was actually my one of my favorite songs from them, along with "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything", "The Song of the Cebu" and "Cheeseburger".
