HI there guys

on Tuesday which was March 20th. My grandmother gave us a horrible scare. she had a Mini stroke. when we kept calling for her to come down that tuesday morning she wouldn't resond back to us. And so I figured something was not right with her. cause when i went to help to sit her up on her bed she couldn't sit up right on her own. and she was grunding very loundly also. and she was very weak in her legs. and she couldn't speak clear sentences. it sounded like she was speaking hungarian, spanish. the only few words we could understand where my grandfather's name Johnny, No Can't, don't. So my grandfather called the ambulance and she was takend into the hospital. she's been in now for 2 days and 2 nights now. i had seen her this evening at the hospital and she's ok. My mom and I had seen her for an 1 and 20 some minutes. My grandfather's been going in every day, night to see her. and tomorrow night Nana would like for me to stay with her. so just thought i'd keep you all posted on what's happening with my life. and I've been holding up on my own with getting my stuff ready for work and all. We hope that she gets back to being her old self again. shortly!:D I'll be taking my work and night apperal stuff with me plus some of my cec things as well.:D More to follow later. like tomorrow when i'm ready to get up in the morning for work. she calls in just to check up on me and if i ate enough for breakfest and am dressed for work. when i'm at work i check in on my half hr and ten min. breaks to find out how's she's doing. and of course like tonight we had talked to say goodnight and to see her sometime soon shortly. so please keep Nana in your thoughts and prayers. Which always helps. Thank you.

Nevin,
I will keep your grandmother in my thoughts and prayers. Let's hope that her condition improves the way that we want it to. Are you close to this relative? I have been very close to my mom's parents ever since I was a little toddler boy. If something unexpected were to happen to one of my close relatives then I would definitely want everyone else to show some consideration. Let's hope for the best!

By the way, did you enjoy speaking to me in the CR last night? That was my first time going in there, so I did not know exactly what to expect. Since I am still new here there are several subjects that I cannot take part in. However, Nevin, you are free to ask me whatever you would like to ask. Most of what I know right now is drawn from memory and what I have researched here up to this point. Thanks to a simple statement that my general manager told me a few months ago, my interest in everything here has been fully revived.

Hi guys. Thank you so much for all of your thoughts and prayers. It's really been helping alot. And tonight we decided that I should come home cause I wouldn't be getting enough sleep anyway in there. And it would of also meant back tracking cause of me then having to work tommorrow. And Nana right at the very moment has a roomate. her roomate has been reading a book. so she wasn't really talking to nana at all. They'll be checking on her roomate plus my grandmother every so many minutes. She's been very tired so hopefully she'll sleep well like she did lastnight. the nurse had given her medication to help her sleep. So that helped alot. And I'll keep smiling cec080. And Tommorrow Nana comes home. YAY!:D

I'm Glad that she's coming back home! Yet i have some bad news My Mom is back in the hospitial. her Kidneys shut down for a while. Now she has a bad infection. They claim she's coming home tomorrow but I think I'm going to have her put in the nursing home again just to be on the safe side.. What's really bad is she's only 56.. ;)

HI Nick and everyone else. Yes it's hard to believe that a few weeks went by so quick when i had informed you all about my nana's health conditions. She's doing some what more better concidering all that has been thrown at her her way. her speak hasn't been majorly affected. which the family and I are greatful for that. The chemo has been going ok for her. Unfortunatly she isn't always able to make it in time to the bathroom which is the cause of that. All and all our day wasn't all bad. we suggested that my grandfather had dropped us off at the whitehall mall to get a bite to eat at Lucky 3's Resturant. Then we did some shopping there. then we headed over to CEC. It was a georgous day so we had decided that we could handle walking across to CEC. The wind was kind of strong at some points. But nothing we couldn't handle. And luckily Nana was able to do CEC with me. Cause to many times she hasn't been able to do much of anything at all. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

An update with what's happening on my end of the world. this past Monday Nana had to go in to get a hammer toe takend care of on her left foot. They weren't able to operate on her last week cause her red corpusles was to low. so they didn't do it till thursday then. the surgery went well. It was the toe between her bigger toe and the 3rd toe. We thought the dieabetic or chemo was doing damage to her toe joints. No it was the arthritis doing it all this time. She was really sick after the surgery cause of the stuff the doctor used to put her to sleep. Not sure how to spell it. Now today I found out that her whole left foot is infected. My family and I are taking a day at a time. So at this point Nana is one sad sack. Ok that's mostly what I had to report from my end. I've been hear at home bitting my time away. the good part is with the rest of the week I work then all day. Saturday and Monday I have off as usual.

I'd like to make a correction on this. it's her right second toe that got takend off. and her right foot is infected. to much of the time I get my rights and lefts mix up.

And yes Erin you'll get used to it. Like Aaron quoted lol.
