Hi all!

Been reading this site since before Christmas and made my way through all the bulletins. A lot of memories came back from early eighties birthday parties at Showbiz and CEC! I really enjoyed the little bit I got to listen to Rock-afire again on the Showbiz radio – I never realized the shows were so good! I've always hated cover bands, but man these guys are great! I was so pumped to find out about Looney Bird's-is it still operating out there?

And whats this about a NEW Pizza Time Theatre? That's the one I went to as a kid...

WOW, another new "reader". Welcome....

It's nice to see a few fresh faces among the crowd. Anyone else out there who hasn't said hi, should drop a quick post and introduce themselves.

As for the "NEW" PTT Location... check that post, because I am sure there will be a full update from our member "Jenn" on all of the activities.

The unfortunate news, was that the
New Pizza Time Theatre is not a public location, but rather the pride and joy of another board member who has transformed one room of his home into a show room, featuring a restored 1981 era PTT stage show.

Sad to hear its not a real location, but reading the description of the restored characters had me a little teary eyed with happiness. :) As to my favorite character, probably Jasper. I attended Showbiz and CEC equally as we had both in our town. I loved Showbiz but man, Fatz Geronimo FREAKED ME OUT. LOL! I'll probably post some of this over in the SB forum too. The main reason I liked PTT over Showbiz was because they didn't have the scary gorilla!

But in retrospect, Rock-afire is awesome. As soon as I can get time in the house alone I'm listening to more Showbiz radio! :)

Hi there and it's great to have another long time fan find his way here !

I totally agree about Fatz ...he freaked ME out too! No really...i was like 13 and he still freaked me out! My fave RAE character is Dook, and i like Beach Bear too.

I'm a serious Pizza Timer though..( that's a Pizza Time Theatre fan...) and i have spent a good portion of my life collecting and being entreched in all things PTT and CEC. I'm sure you will read about some of my adventures here on the Board, but if you even have any questions not answered here about PTT, feel free to ask me! Always happy to answer them as best i can....that's what makes me "Shiney Happy"!

So I guess a Munch's Make Believe Band is a Rock-afire Explosion with "Pizza Timer's Disease" LOL! Time to send them to the old animatronics home.... :p
