This week I'm attending the National Carousel Association in the Philadelphia area. One our stops today was a place called Arnold's Fun Park in Oak PA. The FEC downstairs in this industrial complex hides the fact that upstairs they have an enormous private collection of old mechanical musical instruments, cars, and animatronic store display and parade figures...including these PTT balcony bots I found on the floor.

Cool find! Was the blue vest CEC meant to match the blue vest he wore in promotional artwork after the merge?

No, the vest was a specific costume for shows, well for the bandstand show at least. I believe thats the vest used in that show, I probably why Munch is dressed like he is as well, I could be wrong though

Were these Arnold's Fun Park CECPTT robots the same CECPTT robots (but in different style pics or something like that) seen on the old ShowBiz Pizza Page website (one time rival to VegaNova's still going strong site)?

Does the park use them in some attraction(s)?

No, the collection is warehoused apart from their FEC and I think is only viewable by special appointment such as our Carousel Convention was.

Very cool find Richard!

Some things i noticed....

The 1st photo shows a mid 80's Chuck Bot' wearing walkaround hands. The hands are not Cyberamic cosmetics..as note there is no foam present at all and the fingers are very worn. Compare with the hands in the 2nd photo and you will see exactly when i am talking about. Someone must have just stuck these on to replace the correct missing ones.

The 2nd photo shows a older Bot' wearing a mid 80's Show Costume ( Bandstand i beleive ). This is Chuck's 'Elton John' costume ( missing giant glasses). The Munch Bot' shown is from the same show, and is wearing his 'Hippie' costume ( missing assecories). These two figures came from the same Store no doubt.

The Helen is a original and in very excellent condition. It is rare to find a 'Broadway' Helen in her original sequin dress with pearl lining intact. These are almost always taken off the figure when it is junked.

The 'Rainbow' Warblettes look awesome. Very nice condition.

Haven't you seen at a CECPTT location any CEC robots with walkaround hands on the main PTT stage?

Just a comment on several people wanting to call this place... first off, if your motive is to see if they'll sell or give you a robot you are probably wasting your time. Second comment, in the many years I have been here we have lost more than a few potentially interesting connections because people on this site get hold of their contact information and then bombard them with emails and phone calls. The voice of Dolli Dimples is one such person that comes to mind. While no one can stop you from doing this, if you do contact them, think carefully about why you are doing so and what your real motive is and what you hope to get out of the contact. Keep in mind that this place may not have any insight or anything to offer us as a community, but if they did multiple calls from people that don't handle it correctly could potentially cut off any future corespondence. I am not clear on where this museum is, but who knows, perhaps a group of fans might get to tour the place in the future sometime and one or more people calling them and giving a poor impression of the community as a whole could well spoil that.

They are probably not as bad as they seem. One of the mask mounts is broken or missing and the eyes are loose. There maybe internal parts missing but I bet this one isn't as bad as it seems on the surface. Sometimes bots like this end up missing enough parts you have to canabalize them to use to fix others. I've been there before.
