Well now that Cheese Vention is in fact over its time for someone to put together the DVD and I have voluntered to put the DVD together this year. So here are some of the guidelines to send it to me

1. it has to be on DVD bc I cant convert VCR tapes into DVD's


2. Since its on DVD do not add chapters because when im using it for DVD developing it can cause a blank spot for a second

The hold up is I copyrighted my likeness and there has been some hang ups with my agents regarding securing the rights to my likeness and my royalties for appearing in the DVD. I'm a big time movie star now so I can't very well appear in the CV6 DVD without due compensation and the showbiz people haven't met my price yet.

Actually, the delay is primarily centered around the music rights... The editing process is taking a long time as every single Rock-afire song has to be painstaking removed and replaced with royalty free (instrumental) music.

One thing I can guarantee is if you are a fan of Classical and Baroque music, this DVD will NOT let you down!

Ha ha, all joking aside we do need to seriously consider these "copyright" types of issues moving forward. CV6 brought these potential problems to our attention during the planning stages, so we're already taking this sort of thing into consideration for (what is looking to be) CV7.

Good question....

This seems to be a ongoing inquiry that needs to be resolved. It has been almost a year now since CV 6, and i would like to see this footage finally released. All the folks who attended last years' edition of CV are anxious to finally have this cool souvenier of their experience.

So Matt...if you are not able to finish this project PLEASE don't be shy in letting us know! J and I want to see this thing released as soon as possible and if you are no llonger in a convenient position to complete work on it let us know!

The Cv 6 footage can be forwarded to Rapid T. Rabbit who will be handling the CV SeVen Dvd program this year. It would be nice to see BOTH of these editions come out together.

Let us know what the status is!

Hey Gang, i finally have some news regarding this long overdue Dvd Release.

I was finally able to get in touch with Mr. Franchise and the Cv 6 footage that fans have submitted is being forwarded to Richard. Hooray! This is supposed to have happened already...or will shortly ( according to Matt) so Richard can begin putting the Cv 6 Program together.

The plan in to release BOTH the Cv 6 and Seven Events together as one Dvd package. Depending on how much footage he actually gets, and the time length of the actual programs, it may be a single disc, or a double disc package.

Right now work is going forward to get these out there....FINALLY! I wanted to give our readers a heads up.

Richard just let me know that he now has Matt's footage IN HAND! WOO!! FINALLY!!

A huge thank you to Matt for sending this stuff out to him! At long last this long overdue project can be put to rest!

In the coming couple of weeks i hope to have more news regarding how production is coming along. Both Cv 6 and Seven programs will be put together and then reviewed before official release.

There are also some cool fun Bonus Features being added...!

Latest update kids -

Richard is still waiting for Dylan to send in his CV SeVen footage....so Dylan, if you are reading this...( or his friends are..) PLEASE get in touch with Richard and send him your stuff! He will soon be edited this program together and we can't wait too much longer. People have been waiting a year+ for the CV 6 Dvd alone....well overdue....but it should work out to be well worth the wait in the end.

As mentioned previously, BOTH the Cv 6 from 2009 and CV SeVen from this past Summer will be released TOGETHER.

J and Myself have shot some NEW footage to be included in the Cv SeVen release. There will also be a short spool or outtakes, and perhaps a added bit or two.

More news when i have it!

Hey Gang, just a quick update as to the currant status of the CV 6 / SeVen Dvd Set progress.....

....to date, it is still in production. Work has been slow the last couple of months, and pretty much at a standstill thanks to the busy Holidays. Now that we are in a 'quiet' time of year, i am hoping work will pick up again and we will have a tentetive release date.

I am waiting to hear back from Richard about how things are going.

We have all waited a very long time for this release ( particularly the folks who attended Cv 6 in Chicago!) but i am fairly confident it will be well worth the wait.

On a positive note, in the time it has taken to get this finished, some BRAND NEW never before seen CEC related video footage has been discovered by J ! This is pretty exciting, and i think the Fans will be happy to see this rare video clip.

At the moment, this Dvd set is still being edited together. Once it IS finished and packaged for sale, it will be announced here with a link to the Showbiz.Com online shop.

You can purchase previous CheeseVention Dvds, as well as the 'Letters to Looney Bird LIVE' series there already. This will be the same place the CV 6 and SeVen set will be offered when the time comes.

I just mailed proof copies of the CV6 dvd today to Jenn, J and Travis.

Travis...when you author the disc, you may wish to change around the order of some of the chapters, not sure if I got that right. Also, there the two chapters featuring the RAF complex should really be together as one chapter...the Encore wound up being separated because it was on the next disc in the original set I got from Matt. Not sure if you can merge them but that's the way they show up on the default disc menu.

Many thank yous again Richard for putting this together for us! I know it was a task, and this project in particular has been a major saga story to get finished.

I also want to thank Matt ( The Franchise) too...for all the great footage he originally shot that is a large part of the CV 6 Dvd program. As noted earlier, he was originally going to shoot and then edit the program for release but things had to be put on hold. Richard stepped in to help us get it finsihed, and now we are nearly ready for release!

Hey folks...i finally have some good news regarding this incredibly LONG awaited and very much delayed DVD release.

I am happy to say that it is finally a go, after many many months of waiting and getting all the okays from parties involved to release this. The program was finsihed and ready for release this past Summer beleive it or not, but it has taken all this time since then to get all the permissions needed to release it. Also, there was some last minute editing that needed to take place to remove some private info that was discovered to be included in one of the segments. Some personal addresses were mentioned and it was felt this needed to be removed to protect peoples privacy and personal property. I am sure you understand....but i had not the slightest idea it would take THIS LONG to get it out!

So rest assured...it is green lit...and nearing release. Our own Veganova is personally handling the final stage before it is finally availible.

Hopefully those interested in adding this to their collections, or who actually attended this two years ago, are still interested in getting a copy!

I would like to add an update - this is DONE! Finished. Last minute editing accomplished. DVD menus created.

Now the only hangup is getting the website prepped to sell them (via paypal's merchant dealie) and to make sure I have enough empty cases to press and pack them all into.

I'll post an update and an announcement on the homepage of SP.com once they're officially ready for purchase. It was kinda neat going back and watching stuff from two years ago - much if it seemed almost "new" to me, despite actually being there. :)

WOW! Got my Cheese Vention 6 DVD today and it is loaded with 5 hrs of awesomeness! Great Job! Does Andrew still have his warehouse show I haven't heard anything of it lately. I highly recommend BUYING THIS ASAP! Travis shipped super fast as well!

CheeseVention 6 was very Rock-aFire heavy, as we were graced with Andrews involvement and his parents very gracious kindness in hosting part of CV at their Showplace. Major kudos go out to them, and our three main camera people who recorded all of that footage for making the CV 6 Dvd what it is!
