“You never give me your money…”

A greenish hue bathes him, as his haunting, melodious voice begins to fill the dimly lit room, a deafening hush having come over all present, even the most unruly of adolescents. Continuing to sing, a bird the brightest shade of crimson soon joins along to keep the sweet-sounding chords the bear is singing, despite being settled with the a somewhat humorous voice.

He does his best, and the bear can’t help but smile just a little wider at this, continuing his solo till abruptly, the mood changes dramatically in light of the sudden burst of fantastical symphony. The Symphony, being belted out by a keyboard, bursting with bright shades of color that transcend even the minds imagination.

Hey gang!

Well…I know it’s nearly been a year since I drew and posted this, and I’m sorry I’ve been so negligent in posting anything, forum replies or otherwise. I’ve really missed it though, and I’m glad I could find some time to read over both new and old topics, and finally get some time to finish this as well. I hope you all like it, I tried my best to capture the shades of color and ‘feeling’ of the video of the Abbey Road melody posted here. It took a bit of work, as I couldn’t take any screen captures, so I had to work from the actual video, playing and pausing it over and over.

I’m happy with how he turned out though, Birthday bird especially makes me smile…he turned out really good, especially considering there’s not a lot there to work with! But anyway, again I hope you like him, and I hope I’ll be able to stick around and finish some more RAE artwork as well!

NICE coloring job! I'm exceptional with lineart and inkwork, but my coloring techniques leave something to be desired. :P Nice color blending, it looks very real. :3

(happily sighs and basks in the atmosphere of it all) Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. I love the little glasses you put on the birthday bird.

Wow, what a nice surprise! It looks fantastic colored! You've got such a smooth technique with your line work and coloring. Leaves my stuff in the dust!

Thank you very much! It took me a bit of experimenting to get the 'look' that I wanted with the colors, but fortunately I found it quickly enough to get it done. I'm surprised at myself that I got all the colors done in one day, usually takes me a week to complete stuff. But thanks again!

*Smiles* I'm really happy you enjoyed it so, I hope to do similar pics, as well ones with a 'lighter' mood like the great pictures you do. For the life of me my mind seems set on more 'emotional' sorts of work, least for the RAE...that link to the 'Funzone' video didn't help much neither!

Thanks Harmony, I really appreciate that...and that the glasses are such a hit! *laughs*

Oh bah...I really like your stuff too and I certainly think it's as wonderful, if not more so, but I'm glad you think so highly of it. I only wish I could submit more sooner, but we'll see. Whatever comes next probably won't be quite as detailed as that, I just wanted to put alot of little details in this particular one.

Thanks again, everyone! :bb_happy2:
