Alright, decided to finally start one of these things for myself.
I haven't had a whole ton of time for 'leisure' drawing lately, so most of what I have is unfinished...hope that's okay!
Anyways, here's a Jasper sketch for now.

There's something decidedly "Goofy"-ish about this one. I like the sense of motion!

*nearly dies* You've made a thread? Awesomesauce! I love your Jasper! He's absolutely adorable and has so much personality. I agree with Charon that the image has a great sense of motion. :) Can't wait to see more!

Hey, thanks!
Yeah, he is kind of Goofy-esque here. I think it might be the snout.
It's really hard to find a 'uniform' way of drawing Jasper considering the fact that there isn't much 'official' art of him, so he's tough to get 'on model'...lots of trial and error. I try to combine how he looks in 'Pizza Survivor' with the older, 90's Jasper that had bigger jowls and a wrinklier muzzle.

Aw thank you! Yeah I'm gonna try and put more stuff up here eventually.

Seems there's never enough time for drawing is there? I spend more time finishing stuff for commissions then I do actually drawing anything these days!
Great picture though as expressed earlier there's a lot of flowing motion to it, like it's a key frame in an animation sequence! I really like it, once I get myself to draw everyone from RAE I want to start drawing some CEC guys, I love that I can enjoy your work until I get around to it myself though!
...as gosh only knows when that'll be!

Yeah, I hear that! Most of my output lately has been for clients...and I have some things for an art show I need to work on as well (I should really get on that)...whenever I can though, I try to draw things for myself, just to warm up, I suppose.
Anyways, thanks so much! You should definitely draw some of the CEC characters, I really want to see how you interpret them :)

I do the same here when I can, just did something for myself today which I haven't done since...erm, well I can't recall the last time!
But you're quite welcome, and really hope I can find the time soon, would like to start with Mr. Munch. Mostly because I have a certain way I'm 'picturing' him in my head that I want to get down before I forget it.

Alright, figured it was about time I toss something else up here.
I debated whether or not to post this one for a while - it's kind of depressing . It was drawn while I was going through a particularly unpleasant bout of Insomnia at around 6 A.M. a couple of years ago. You know, just 'one of those days' ;)

There's a lot I don't like about it...lots of errors, but It's one of the few fully finished CEC/SPP-related pics I have on my computer so I thought I'd show you guys.

It's not depressing, it's emotive. I'm with Jaspar on this one. Gah, who'd wanna go outside into that? The brightness hurt MY eyes.
Totally awesome, as well as your icon! I didn't know the old bots were that big!

Hahaha, thank you :) Yeah, some days you just wanna stay inside and take it easy and not face the world ;)
Anywho, yeah! They're pretty big - I think it's because of how elevated they were back in the PTT days - they had to be seen from a distance!

Actually she suffers from a medical condition known as dwarf-ama-something-or-other. Nice of you to bring attention to it there Charon.... :D
Ha ha, sorry I had to comment. I love the icon too. She's right though - Harmony looks HUGE compared to you! Must be the cropping.
The Jasper drawing is sweet too. He kinda has one of those "well I guess I get to go sing "Party Place" - again..." *sigh*

Dammit Travis, you know I'm sensitive about my condition! :((
Anyways, HAHAHA yes, exactly! He is totally thinking about all of the birthday kids he's going to have to deal with later in the day - there really is only so much a dog can take, after all ;)

Harmony, this picture is quite relatable to a lot of people. It doesn't depress me in the least. I know that face he's making all too well. I'm not a morning person at all, and I've got a pretty good feeling that's what I look like when I've gotta get up any time before ten AM. :)) You've done a perfect job of capturing the expression and mood, and I love how smoothly the colors blend together. I honestly don't see how you've found errors in this piece. I really don't.

Kinda rough - just a quick sketchbook doodle I did while waiting for a drink at a coffee place a while back.
Man, I just realized everything I've uploaded here so far is of Jasper - but I plan to change that very soon ;)

Fatherly, huh? Hmm...I guess I can kinda see that!
Anyways, not entirely sure just yet - I'm working on a fairly large piece for another forum member that involves both Rockafire and PTT characters, so I've been drawing a little of each lately, as practice of sorts. As soon as I find some that I like enough to clean up, I'll post 'em :)

I really like this piece. And who cares if you submit all Jasper pictures? You're brilliant at drawing him! He comes to life when you draw him; he seems like a real character with legitimate feelings. Something about your art always speaks volumes without a word written. How do you get so much happiness and life into your stuff?

That really means a ton to me - thanks so much!! I'm really flattered! :)
I guess a lot of it stems from the fact that, in a lot of ways, I sort of grew up with these characters so I'm pretty fond of them... I have a lot of fun playing around with their expressions/personalities and trying to put 'em on paper.
I really do gotta upload some stuff of the others soon though - I do draw them, but they need some work - I have the hardest time with Helen.

Haha, so are most of mine. I guess a 'doodle' to me is something I just kind of draw with no real prior planning, but I guess it varies for everyone.

The guitar is kind of a mess but it was done pretty quickly, so give me a break ;)
He looks borderline psychotic, but I like to think he's just really into whatever it is he's playing (FREEBIRD!!!)
Anyways, I've been doodling these characters a lot lately...so hopefully I'll have more to show soon, once I stop being lazy and start touching them up a little!

I know I always post this, but whatever- I envy you sooo much. I wish I could draw that guitar "Pretty Quickly" it takes me five minutes to draw a bad guitar. Probably 20 to draw a halfway decent Cheetar (That's what's its called, right?)
