Sorry I've been gone so long ... long story- poor health, internet issues, etc. etc. Right now all I have is the public library which I go to once a week, and my very basic mobile phone's service. If you don't remember me, I was the one who started the first fan stories to a prior version of ShowbizPizza.com and created a series of artworks incorporating CEC/PTT characters into scenes of Sacramento (and Raley Field, which was in the county at the time). I might post that set to the art fourm, although I'd prefer a dedicated section. In the meantime, those of you still members of the Yahoo Groups can download them from there anytime. There's been a bunch of spammers (junk posters) in my abscence, although one of the posters of this board had been administering one of the CEC/PTT groups I started. Don't even remember what that is! I was really tired of having to keep booting the same spammer over and over, the same guy (probally) who was spamming the EZboard version of the Showbiz pizza fourm. Anyway, these boards and the ShowbizPizza.com site offer a wealth of ifo, vids, etc. that can't be matched elsewhere (also search Youtube, they've got great stuff too!)

I see you already brought up what I wanted to talk to you about, any chance we can change the pizzatimetheatre group status to a private group? I've heard from another person who has a yahoo group that that will help ditch the spammers

Glad you're back, Crusty! I wish you could go to the library and look through microfilmed San Jose Mercury News newspapers from 1977-1980 for any CECPTT articles and pics and ads regarding its early years.

Probally won't mircofilm search. Need exact date of openings to be any use. Look for san jose mercury news articles, daryl. Sacramento is much farther from sj than sf, so back issues might be limited in the state capital.

Also: May 17, 1977 was the official grand opening of the first CECPTT on Winchester Blvd. in San Jose, California so you'll know...

I don't have 'net at home except a phone that is terrible for posting to this site, so don't be alarmed if I don't post much. Also, I will most likely post to the Offtopic or PizzaTimeTheater sections, as those are my areas of interest now, not the current Chuck E. Cheese, which I have no interest in. I just wanted to relive old memories.
