Hello there! This is my first time posting on this forum. My username is Miss Kleo, but you can just call me Kleo. I may do a more proper introduction later, but I figured I might as well contribute to the (sadly) scant amount of RAE/PTT/CEC fanart out there right off the bat. :) I've got more fanart doodles and sketches lying around somewhere, and I'll add them to this thread as I scan them.

This is my first attempt at my personal favorite Rock-afire character, Duke. It's definitely not the best, for sure, but I hope to get better with practice. I'm sorry that I screwed quite a lot up, and I got lazy about drawing his drums and all that. As I said, I hope to do better the next time around. :) I doodled this up in lab on the back of a draft for my formal lab report, while I was supposed to be doing *ahem* OTHER things. Being the dork that I am, I also managed to leave him by the filters over night. I'm surprised no one moved him when I got there the next afternoon, though I'm sure he was a strange sight for anyone who saw him.

Anywho, it's good to meet you guys! I hope to make some new friends around here in time. :)

Nope, and not the "Miss Cleo" of midnight tarot-reading fame, either. :)

Pleased to make your acquaintance.^^

Hey, welcome! Great to have another artist aboard!
That Dook is FANTASTIC. The detail in his face and the texturing/shading is gorgeous. You totally nailed his expression, too :) I dig!
Hope to see more from you!

Look at that wonderful Dook! I love his ears, they look so plump and spaniel-y. You got how he holds his sticks JUST right! Amazing! Do you have a DeviantArt, I wanna favorite this!

Gushing aside, nice to meet you! Glad to have another artist in the fandom.

Aww, thanks. *blushes* Gotta love his floppy ears. <3

I do have a DA, although I haven't used it for half a year. XD; It's http://kleo-neko.deviantart.com/, if you're interested, though. What's yours? It's so rare to find artists in this fandom it's sad, but I like what we've got so far! *has been eating up your comic*

I absolutely adore your Duke piece. ADORE IT. It's got so much character and heart put into it. Totally crafted with love. It's always a treat to see a new artist join the in the ranks. It definitely is a rare site around here. But, the artists we do have all passionately give to the boards, I think. You've definitely nailed Dook and I envy your pencil work on that shading.

Woa!

That's the first thought that popped into my mind...just, WOW! I rarely do any shading in pencil sketches myself, I leave that to color but I really admire those who do take the time to do it...and do it so expertly too! Just fantastic, I love the realistic 'scratch' shading affects in this, looks like it belongs in a book about the RAE it's so perfect!

Oh and of course, welcome to the boards!

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments and warm welcome!

I'm sorry I didn't upload anything when I said I would... My stupid scanner stopped working shortly after I made the opening post, and it's STILL not working. T_T

To try and make up for it, I drew this as a thank-you to everyone at the ShowBiz Pizza Forums for their patience and kindness.

Since I'm not so great with digital art, I drew it traditionally, so the only way I could show it without a scanner was to take a dinky, low-quality photo of it that makes it look worse than it does in person. Nah well. I hope you guys like it anyway! :) (I ended up cramming a bunch of RAE characters into one small space. I have no idea how I managed to throw in Sun, Moon, and Antioch and yet I couldn't be bothered to fit Billy Bob and Looney Bird in there. Sorry about leaving them out... It's nothing personal, just lack of forethought on my part. I don't generally think out things very much before I do them, lol. Likewise, I'm sorry I screwed up the character designs a bit... My b.)

That's a really phenomenal drawing. You're incredibly talented.

As for your exam, best of luck. I've never taken organic chemistry myself but I have friends who did... O_o

Hey all, sorry for the random bump! I've been lurking on and off for the past few years, lol. I realized belatedly that I have two pictures that I could have sworn I posted two years ago, but apparently that isn't the case. Uh, oops? Ha ha, well, here are two portraits I sketched, one of Beach Bear and another of Helen:

1682

1681

1680

My apologies for the quality--I didn't have a working scanner at the time, and I sadly don't know where these pictures are now so I can properly scan them. :(
