I Love that kind of stuff!
I hope to someday own a CEC or RAE show, (and anyone who knows me Knows I will, because I'm a dreamer but also a do-er, if I want it to happen, it will!) and this sort of stuff TOTALLY feeds the Dream-Tank.
The reason I want to check up on this list is because I'm considering writing a computer program to program CEC shows.

Yes, this is some really cool stuff, for some reason. Don't know why, but it's really cool even though it's not that different from seeing a show. If you ever get a-hold of the Studio C Diagnostic video, if there is one. I'd be interested in seeing that as well.

The studio C diagnostics are on every show DVD. Also, there are a couple different versions. If you can get a hold of the dvd's. There were also Laserdiscs of the early shows. They included dialog from the parrot. Those are hard to find......

Exactly! I asked someone who works at CEC a long time ago what can Chuck do? And they said "Chuck cannot do much. He can only move his mouth, ears, hands, and lift his arms, and turn around." Now that I know what Chuck is capable of, I find that extremely funny there are people working on shows and don't even know the smallest bit of info about it.

Ah! I've got to get a job so I can buy one then.

Dude, you do not know how you made my day. I have always wanted to see that darn diagnostic video, and now I finally do. Since I was a little confused about the arm twist. I did not even think it really existed. But, now you've shown me. Also, I think you are missing the fiber-optics part and a couple others but who cares.
And to make my day even better, I get to see a PERFECT or at least near perfect Studio C.

Actually this list contains some incorrect information here. First off, Jasper and Pizza Cam CANNOT look right and left. They have an eye cross (this is what Beach Bear and Looney Bird originally had). Also, Jasper and Pasqually cannot actually open and close their eyelids. Their eye lids pull to allow them to get wide eyed for a look of "surprise". They cannot actually close. This was also the design of the orginal Beach Bear and Dook robots. CEC did not modify the robots aside from changing out Chuck E. Cheese's right arm assembly (because of Earl) and they removed Dook's ear levers. Also, not to nitpick, but the correct way to really list movements is this. The counter movement isn't listed. You would say "head left". The reason is head right and head left are distinctively different movement handled by seperate solenoids. Same with the eyes rigth and left.
Example:
Chuck E. Cheese and Helen (their movements are identical)
1. Mouth
2. Head back
3. Right Eye lid
4. Left Eye lid
5. Eyes Right
6. Eyes Left
7. Head Right
8. Head Left
9. Right Ear (or pony tail)
10. Left Ear (or Pony tail)
11. Body Lean
12. Body Right
13. Body Left
14. Right Elbow
15. Right Wrist
16. Right Arm Raise
17. Left Elbow
18. Left Wrist
19. Left Arm Raise
(they are not in the order the movements are in on the mac valves)
Mr. Munch and Jasper are 16 movents (I'll list the movements if you guys want)
Pasqually is a 15 movement character (He was 17 as Dook but the ears were eliminated)
Pizza Cam is a 6 movement character
The wink, baby Munch and building and Moon run on the props bank which is an 8 movement bank. #3 controlled dual pressure and and #6 was the hands. These are no longer used in the MMBB stage)

Is there a lights portion of the set up tape for the 3 stage? The Studio C on youtube has lights included. I also believe the CU diag tape had spotlight set up. None of the videos had general lighting set up. So was it not included on Cyberstar RAFE or 3 stage ones?
Also was all the characters being able to wink a must on the shows? On looney bird it made sense to have independant eyelid movement. Just seems a waste to have two cylinders always going off the same time. Plus when a show starts getting a lot of movements and the computer can't fire off all cylinders in one go the characters start getting the looney bird syndrome. Start losing their minds from all that singing. Or is it a mechanical reason they didn't use just one movement for eyelids?

The eyelids are all independent, but again some of the robots couldn't close their lids. Billy Bob, Dook and Beach Bear's eyelids retract to give a surprised look. These can be done independently, but in generally the lids were programmed to blink together as this is how eyelids work in real life. Billy Bob for example could raise one lid only which gave a sort of questioning expression, but for the most part the eyelids did operate in tandem. The other characters that could actually completely close their eyelids are indeed capable of winking and did so from time to time. In "Banana Hill" Fatz alternates his eyelids. I think Rolfe does the same thing in one of the birthday songs but I do not recall which. I believe it is at the end of "Sal's Birthday". Looneybird frequently alternated his eye lids which helped add to emphasize his drunk character early on.

CEC did make one change on the eyelids. They switched the airlines on Dook's eyelids so that Pasqually does kind of a half blink. Jasper is the only one that still gets wide eyed. It would be easy to convert to a full blink though. The rear mount rod would just be moved back to the rear most position on the head frame and then install 2" stroke cylinders. Pasqually and Jasper currently have 1" stroke cylinders and the rear mount rod is in a further forward position than the rest of the characters.
The lights are in fact on the diagnostics for the 3-stage. It runs through all 39 of the triac driven light circuits plus the house lights dim (no longer used though), and also does the sign and organ.
Pasqually actually has 14 movements. CEC has also removed the bass drum movement.
Chuck's movements (in order):
1. Mouth
2. Left Ear
3. Right Ear
4. Left Eyelid
5. Right Eyelid
6. Eyes Left
7. Eyes Right
8. Head Left
9. Head Right
10. Head Up
11. Left Arm Raise
12. Left Arm Twist
13. Left Elbow
14. Right Arm Raise
15. Right Arm Twist
16. Right Elbow
17. Left Body Twist
18. Right Body Twist
19. Body Lean
Chuck does not have wrist movements on the 3-stage. Helen's movements are indeed identical but the arm movements are in a different order.

Yeah its actually an elbow twist. I called it a wrist movement but that was what I was referring to. I was unaware of the bass drum movement but that does make sense. Did they actually physically do a way with it or did they just opt to stop programming it?

Not to be argumentative ;), but rather for accuracy and clarity, Chuck does not have an elbow twist either. The cylinder is right under his shoulder hinge and the entire upper and lower arm twists. Jasper on the other hand does have an elbow twist (guitar strum) as well as a full arm twist.
The bass drum movement has been totally done away with to my knowledge. It is possible that some locations still have everything in place left over from Dook. I believe it is in the cyberstar diagnostic menu, but again, that is left over from Dook. It is not on the diagnostics or in any of the documentation indicating that CEC has supported that movement. Other things that are no longer programmed are still on the diagnostics such as munch jr, house light dimmer, dual pressure regulator, and the curtains. No sign of the bass drum though.

Unless if PizzaCam is a liar and has the greatest editing skills in the world, those are correct movements. You can't argue with evidence

Visually, yes. But I wanted to clarify that if you were working on the mac valves that the eyes right and left, and the head turns are seperate movements controlled by seperate valves. Chuck E. is technically a 19 movement character. The movements are really based on the # of solenoids that control the characters, if you say he has more or less movements, that really isn't correct.
