I think it's time that CEC changes the animatronic Helen's hair and her outfit to either the green or blueish-purple cherleader outfit. I also think it's time that they change Chuck over to his purple and green Avenger outfit as well. What do you guys think?

im sure if you needed to order a new costume for the chuck onstage, it would be that one. but how often do you ever really need to order one??
i know as far as the walkaround, all you can get is the avenger shirt.

I doubt you can order the Avenger costume for the animatronic. I just recently looked it up in our parts catalog at our store, and the only outfit you can purchase for Chuck now is the red ball cap, blue C shirt and tan shorts. I'm sick of this outfit, and would like to see it changed.
As for the Helen outfit, I'm surprised they didn't change her years ago! She's been wearing the cheerleader outfit for at least 7-8 years now! Why not have the animatronic match the walkaround in the videos?

I agree bzier. I'd love to see helen's updated golden yellow feather colors on stage. while either sporting her green or purple Cheerleader outfit.:D :b our helen has the light blue eyes two shades of purple eyeshadow. the purple for her eyelids is a deep plum color while the purple eyeshadow for her mask is a deep lilac purple.:D i love her shinning purplish pink outfit with the black velvet top with her flower bow on there. with the white feather's tipped with black color. years ago she had the old mitzi robot eyes. while her eye shadow was a light blueish green color for on her rubber mask. This would only be the three stage helen I'm talking about. while her eyelid color is still the same plum purple looking.:D then she had the purplish pink seqin scrungies.:D while her sneakers hands and legs were rubber. :) :D And indeed our Helen did also have the dark green eyeshadow for on the mask only. not eyelids. Her eyelids are still the same color as menitioned above.:D

Last year, our regional tech at the time came in and was mad that we still had our 1 stage Chuck E in his tuxedo and derby. He personally ordered a new outfit for him. What we recieved was the blue shirt, tan shorts, and, an Avenger hat. So, that outfit does exist, and our mismatched Chuck E looks silly.

well, they may have just messed up and sent you the walkaround costume's hat. They did that in Tampa at that store while I was training there years ago. They sent them the Blue C shirt, but they sent the dark blue C ball cap instead of the red one. This is the only store I've been to where I saw something different. Nowdays all stores seem to have that outfit. I've only seen 3 different stores in the past year that had otherwise...Rockford Illinois(rocker stage), classic derby and red vest; Racine Wisconsin(Studio C alpha), classic Studio C vest; and Chattanooga Tennessee(MMBB 3 stage), classic derby and tux.

Yeah, more then likely they goofed up and sent the wrong hat. It's hard to beleive they could, as the hat that is supposed to be used for the Bot's is foam like the Studio C Bots' wear. A lot of stores "cheated" when time came to change their Chuck's cloths onstage and just reused a old spare walkaround hat. This is okay, but you find that it slips a lot due to the weight and there is not a really sturdy way to attach it to his head ( unlike the Studio "Garnies" who have built in snaps to fasten the matching hat to..). Usually you can only solve the above by taking a power tool to Chuck's head ( EEEKKK!!!!! the thought!)
As far as i know, the "Sport Blue" outfit is the only "look" currently availible. I totally agree though....it is high time he had a update to the "current" look.
I would actually enjoy seeing a makeover for Helen too....

I've been surprised lately. After visiting the rest of the stores here in Florida, I've found that in Pensacola, Mobile Alabama, and Miami all still have Chuck in his tux and derby. It was nice to see. I also saw that at two of the Miami area stores, that have the Road Stages, Chuck has different attire. In Sunrise, he was wearing his new blue C shirt with khaki shorts, but he had on the purple Avenger hat. In Hialeah, he was wearing the red C ballcap, but had on the sporty red, yellow, and blue Chuck shirt with long red sleeves. It was weird. So maybe they do screw up? Or maybe they offer other outfits too!
Also, while in Cali, I realized that in Sacramento, the 2-stage CEC is wearing the blue C hat instead of the red one.
As for Helen, I've seen the corporate 3-stage bot with yellow feathers, and in Pensacola she has them as well...so how about a change of her outfit too?
Michael, can you shed any light on this? Do you have any idea when we might see the Avenger outfit?

I Don't Know If The Wayne Location Changed Yet, Because If I Remember Correctly, It Had The Tux. He Had On Some Other Clothes Periodically, But Soon He Would Revert Back to the Tux.:D

I remember back in 2002 when the "Blue Sport Chuck" outfit was made availible for the C Stages and Studio C Bots'. We had the walkaround version of this outfit since 2000 when it was brought out to freshen up the Rat's look and make him look more contemporary with the current logos and images.
I remember when i ordered the "Blue Sport" outfit for my store Danvers back then. We were the first store in the state to get it, and it was some time before the other locations caught up. I used to put it on only in the summer months ( it looked "summery") and during the rest of the year he wore his Tux and derby ( Except X-mas when he was dressed as Santa!).
I remember when my DM saw the "Blue Sport" outift on our Bot' onstage and was absolutely convinced i had made it, and it was not "official". Ha ha!! Seriously! I had to actually get out the paperwork from the Parts Dept and show him that yes, this WAS "standard" and "official" stage gear! He was so used to seeing me dress them up in different get-ups i can understand his confusion..lol.....but yeah, that's the tale.
For a few years now i have mentioned in other threads in the past that it's high time Chuck had some new duds to wear onstage. Since the "Avenger" purple clothing is the "new look" for Chuck, and most walkarounds use this suit, it makes sense to make a fully sized one for the stage Bot'. One of these days...
I mean, by the time most stores recieved the "Blue Sport" look, the matching walkaround costume was long gone. It was always cool to be able to have the stage Chuck AND the costume version match perfectly. It really helped create a sense that he just stepped off the stage and was visiting.
Of course, no matching costume matters really now since the Bot version Chuck is visiable at ALL TIMES now since there are NO CURTAINS.......:x

If you're talking about Wayne, NJ, they have the blue shirt and khakis now.
I was there a few weeks ago.

Well, the Blue C outfit came out almost 5 years ago now...so I definitely think it's time to get the bot matching the walkaround. The Avenger outfit looks cool, and should be offered to stores as a new option.
I know I've said this a thousand times too, but it's high time Helen gets her new duds as well.

And I know that Jenn will agree with me when I say all existing stages should definatley get a new background! It's about time they start considering this. It's been a good 17 years since we've gotten that background!

Do They Still Have The 1 Stage? Or Do They Have Studio C?

I Remember the Old Road Stage. I Accidentally Thought It Was A 1-Stage. I'm Glad It Didn't Revert To Studio C Yet. It's So Rare. You Know?

I'm finding out that Road Stages aren't as rare as I used to think. Citrus Heights in California has one, and three stores in the Miami area have them too. Sunrise, Pembroke Pines, and Hialeah. I used to think there were maybe like 5 or 6 in existence. Guess I was way wrong!
I like the 1-stages with the rotating platforms the best. I'm not as big on the Road or 2-stages.
My favorite stage is of course the 3-stage.
While all of these may be old, they could definitely get new life if the stages were remodeled, and the character's costumes were changed out. It would seem 'NEW'.

I like the 1-stages with the rotating platforms the best.
A local store near me has it... I absolutely adore it.
However, they stopped using it when the curtains were disabled, as it kind of defeats the purpose and opens that area up to kids.

they still program for it though so keep it plugged in.
Aaron

I never said it wasn't still programmed.
My point is, it defeats the purpose when the curtains up, kids can see back stage and go back there, and that's the problem.
