Okay, so I heard about how CEC is called "Charlie Cheese" in Australia for slang reasons and that got me thinking. How many international PTTs and CECs do we know of? Are there any big differences? Any pictures? Vids? ???

I keep hearing about Chuck E Cheese in the Islamic middle eastern world, but haven't really seen many pictures or official websites.
I also hear how there is authentic Showbiz Pizza Place's with full Rockafire Explosions in Dubai and Lebanon, but again...haven't seen much information on it.
I think it's funny that Atari helped start Chuck E Cheese in 1977, and Nintendo ran the Canadian Chuck E Cheese's for awhile.
But yeah, is Chuck E Cheese still called Charlie Cheese's in Australia? I know Burger King is called "Hungry Jacks" there. Also, I know there was a Hong Kong Pizza Time Theater back in the early 1980's.

Can anyone confirm if there is still Showbiz Pizza Places in the Middle East?
I've found information on SPP with Rockafire Explosion in Dubai UAE, Kuwait and Lebanon.
I found a picture of the Kuwait one:
http://www.showbizpizza.com/photos/spp/int_middleeast/04.jpg
A place in Saudi Arabia(not sure if its showbiz) that has the RAE
http://www.robotsandgames.com/page7.html
Havent found any pictures of the Dubai one
But then I found a picture of a huge, what looks like a Stadium sized
Showbiz Pizza Place in Lebanon:
http://www.showbizpizza.com/photos/spp/int_middleeast/03.jpg
Sadly as you can see, it looks like it got hit by aerial bombs or missiles(probably when Israel blew up a lot of Beirut in 2006)
This makes me really sad, look how huge that thing is!
Actually if you look at the fascade/marquee/outside of these Showbiz', these look like full blown authentic Showbiz Pizza Places.
Anyone have any information on these?

Whoah, trippy! An example of imitation *not* being the sincerest form of flattery.
Oh here's the professional corporate CEC in Saudi Arabia site, which looks similar to chuckecheese.com

Why didn't CECPTT open up locations in the UK/England and Paris, France and Japan?

Good question. Funny thing, too, I was just discussing this with someone. I had an exchange student from Holland staying with me last year (she's in the photo I posted not too long ago) and I just told her yesterday I started collecting CEC stuff. Here's part of said conversation:
SlapHappy says:The restaurant's 32 years old, there's gotta be TONS of stuff I could buy.
Rianne... says:
well u don't have to buy some of that for me =P
SlapHappy says:
I know, because Europe is a CECless continent. I feel bad for your kids, they don't have animal robots to sing to them. =P
There really should be CECs in Europe, but there's probably some sort of hidden business expense or restriction that keeps it from being feasible. What, exactly, I'm not sure. I'll let you know after I get my MBA. :P

Write to CEC and suggest opening locations in the UK/Europe!

CEC has four locations in central and south America:
Santiago Chile
Guatemala City Guatemala
Bayamon Puerto Rico
Caguas Puerto Rico
As well as 14 locations in Canada:

Sadly...besides the Saudi Arabia and Dubai location, no other non US locations:(

For the international shows do they just have a different recording of the show they play here or is it an entirely different show?

CEC hasn't even opened a Canadian location in the provience of Quebec - Including the Montreal area! (But if a CEC opens in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, there could be 2 versions of the CEC Studio C show, one in English language and one in French language or a mix of the two or something like that!)
Also: Does the Puerto Rico and Chile and Guatemahala CEC locations have the Studio C shows in English and/or Spanish?
It would be even surprising besides UK/Europe (and Paris, France) to see CEC locations open in these Foreign countries:
Russia
South Africa
New Zealand
The Philliphines (Shakey's is dominiant in the Philliphines)
Holland/The Netherlands
Germany
Bermuda
...and maybe reopen CEC locations in Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia. And even have CEC open a location in Mexico to give the faux Chucky Cheeze a run for its truthful name and whatnot.

Do all franchise's have their own website? I think all CEC's should have a site like that. Mabey just a subdomain of the corp. site?
